Narrator:

After all the ninjas along with their Sensei left the Tower of Cyrus Borg, they boarded the Destiny Bounty to go to their home (Monastery).

The group (Cole, Jay, Zane, Lloyd, Nya and Morro) were talking about how they were grateful that they didn't have to deal with the Time Brothers again (Krux and Acronix). But for the Fire Ninja (Kai), he did not feel the same relief that his friends felt. After several minutes the ninjas arrived at the Monastery, Nya landed the Destiny Bounty and everyone entered the Monastery, except Ronin who wanted to stay on the ship since he liked being there better.

All the ninjas went to their respective rooms and changed their gi into more delicate and soft clothing. All the ninjas later went to have dinner with their Sensei (Wu), and they all went back to their rooms, to rest and prepare for the next day.

____[In Kai's Room]____

The Elemental Master of Fire was sitting on the floor with his back against the wood of the bed while looking at some old photos of him when he was little. In one of the photos that Kai was holding, the photo show him when he was little holding Nya, who was barely a newborn, and 2 people whom Kai did not recognize because the photo was in poor condition and it covered their faces completely.

Kai has been having doubts about his parents for a long time. It's a confusing topic for him. Since Krux personally metioned something about his parents in front of him and his sister (Nya). But he didn't give much detail before Krux and Acronix were "defeated".

-"What were Krux and Acronix referring to about my "parents"..?"

Kai asked in a whisper while still looking at the photo, after a few seconds looking at the photo, he lets out a sigh and says:

Kai:
-"It's better that I go to sleep, tomorrow will be a busy day as Master Wu told us, and I'm going to need a good rest for tomorrow."

Kai puts the photos in a small box and saved them in his closet. After he turns off the lights in his room and lies down on his bed, Kai looks at the ceiling one last, closing his eyes falling asleep.

He noticed that he was still wearing his pijamas, and looked around again only to find pure darkness. The Red Ninja lets out a small breath and says the following:
