Narrator:

It had been 4 hours since the last time the ninjas talked before they all went to sleep, the night was very calm and cold. The times they flew at night to past missions, it was difficult for them due to the bad weather, but this time it was different.

Everything was silent, until Kai woke up and feel the need to use the bathroom. Kai carefully begins to get out of his bed and picks up a small solar lamp that was on his right side on the nightstand.
Kai begins to leave his room as he reached the front of the ship, then he notices someone sitting on the rooftop of the Ship's Control Room.

Kai, ignoring his needs to use the bathroom, decides to investigate on his own who was on the rooftop. Was it one of his teammates, Sensei, Misako? Who knows.

[On the roof of the Ship Control Room]

Kai begins to climb a ladder that is connected to the Ship's Control Room, he begins to climb carefully without making any type of noise that wakes up the others. Already on the roof, Kai realized who the sitting figure was, it was his sister Nya.

Kai stares at his sister for a moment, a little confused since for the most part, Nya hasn't had any problems with sleeping, what could be happening that is preventing her to rest? Kai will investigate that.

As Kai is standing completely on the roof, Nya reacts quickly when she hears footsteps starting to approach behind her. Nya quickly turns her head to the direction where the footsteps were heard, and then finds herself face to face with her brother, Kai.

Nya:
-"Kai..?"

The Water Ninja said, surprised that Kai found her.

Kai:
-"Hey...can I sit with you?"

Nya:
-"Sure..why not?"

That was the only thing the Water Ninja could say since she didn't want her brother to ask her questions about why is she awake, but Kai already plans to tell her.
As the two siblings looked at the stars in the sky, Nya began to remember something she and Kai used to do when they were little when one of them couldn't sleep.

Nya then turns her head towards her brother was sitting (which was on the right side) as he was looking at the sky. Kai notices Nya looking at him, so he decides to turn his gaze towards her sister. Nya kept her gaze on the ground for several seconds until she says the following:

Nya:
-"Kai."

Kai:
-"Yeah?"

Nya:
-"Do you remember when we used to do this when we were little?"

When Kai heard that, a small smile began to appear on his face as he started to remember what her sister was referring to.

Kai:
-"How could I not forget.."
