Liv
Well, there we have it. My journey with Carmen up until our wedding night. Now that is one night I will never forget in a hurry. Since it was unbelievably hot watching and being under her command, we flip it around more now and I'm just that little less dominant when it comes to our intimacy. We are really comfortable in our marriage and in our relationship as a whole and to have such a relationship, has changed me massively. Sure, I still have insecurities, but who hasn't?
Dev and Angel are still going strong and are as crazy as ever and they are off jet setting around the globe just now, but I will always, always be thankful for Dev pulling me back from doing something stupid or i wouldn't have what I have today.
Callie, Ashley, Gavin and Chelsea are still close, and we visit every week and the kids just absolutely adore Carmen and watching their faces light up when we go round always brings us so much joy.
Now to Polly. Three months into our marriage, the court case began. She had the audacity to deny that she threw/pushed me off the bridge and said that I had tripped and went over. Thankfully for us we had witnesses and let's just say Polly had a brutal trial with being hit with the truth left, right and centre. Polly had an attempted murder charge to her name and although I did not want her to go down for life, I was happy with the six years she was given due to my testimonial.
I finished work early today and knew Carmen was at home and that excitement I get every time I'm going home; it never goes away. That love we share is pure and real and well, I honestly cannot wait to see what our future brings. Stepping inside and calling out to Carmen who never responded, confused me slightly. I could feel a slight tension in the air, and I wondered where she was. I finally traced her to the bathroom and my heart sank when I see her sitting on the floor. "Babe?" She slowly lifted her head and smiled albeit briefly at me and I sat down next to her. "What's going on?" She was nursing herself like someone that had gone in to shock. "Babe...you are starting to scare me here."
"It's nothing bad, I promise."
"Okay...so are you going to spill what's going on in that beautiful mind of yours?" Carmen nodded her head.
"I know we've only been married ten months..."
"Best ten months of my life, I can assure you that much."
"Same here and I know..." I was looking at her a little concerned now. "It worked."
"What worked?" Carmen shot me a look and it took me a few moments to click on what she was talking about. Reaching from where she was sitting, she pulled the stick out and showed me.
"We're pregnant?"
"Uh huh..."
"Wow." Now I know why she was sitting here in shock as I joined her in that state.
"I think we had worked ourselves up thinking that it wouldn't work first time."
"So, we wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't."
"Yeah...shit Liv. We are gonna be parents." We both slowly starting to grin, and I took her face into my hands and kissed her tenderly.
"This is...amazing!!"
"I know...sorry...I was just a little freaked out and I was feeling all sorts of sick earlier and didn't think the test would come back positive and here we are..."
"I'm not mad babe. I know we wanted to do the test together when you felt sure but wow...us...a family."
"I need to get checked out properly though."
"I know..." Carmen stood up and followed her whilst she was on the phone I couldn't help smiling, picturing her stomach that little bit bigger, carrying our child and bringing it in to this world.

A few weeks later we were all sitting in Callie's back garden having another get together and the whole gang was there. It was the perfect setting to let everyone into our well-kept secret. I stood beside Carmen and wrapped an arm around her waist and smiled. Clearing my throat, I got everyone's attention. "As we are slowly coming up to our anniversary..."
"We want to tell you all that we love you very much." I can see some faces fall. They probably think we are chucking the towel in so to speak.
"But we want each and every one of you to be a part of our next journey."
"Aww noooo! You can't move away!" Gavin yelled out and then Chelsea.
"Stay!" I let out a laugh.
"Not that kind of journey kids but we are staying, very much so because we want all of you to know..."
"We're pregnant!!" Screams and squeals of joy brought smiles on our faces and as I got pulled in all sorts of directions for hugs and congratulations, as did Carmen, a few moments later she was frozen to the spot.
"What is it babe?"
"Do you see that?" I followed her eyes and looked in the direction she was looking in.
"Is that..."
"Surely it can't be..." But it was. Amanda watching with a smile on her face and blew them a kiss. Until next time.
"Be seeing you."
