"Oh holy..." Angel's hand reached her mouth and Dev finished her sentence.
"Fuck." Carmen looked bewildered at us all.
"Who wrote that letter to you saying that she had passed away?" I inquired.
"Murdered. She was murdered."
"Who wrote it? You have to say her name Carmen, I feel that I will have an energy here once her name passes your lips." Dev pushed a little harder now.
"Who's Amanda's?"
"That's drawing her in. But you need to say who wrote the letter informing you of her murder." Carmen nodded.
"It was her girlfriend, Callie." The three of us sank back into our chairs. This was unbelievable. Dev started smiling.
"What?" Dev's grin was unbelievable.
"She's here." I looked around and thought Dev was off her rocker.
"Callie isn't here."
"No, you goofball. Amanda."
"Oh...OH!" Carmen was confused and clearly didn't understand what is going on and I knew I had to start explaining. "Babe. Amanda was Callie's first love."
"I don't know Amanda's girlfriend."
"But you do." I knew she was tired and then her eyes went wide.
"As in Callie, Callie?"
"Yes!" Angel bounced in her seat as Dev smiled.
"We've got the connection!"
Dev smiled

Dev
Amanda was here in spirit and sadly I was the only one who could see her. "Well done Dev."
"Thanks Amanda. This...is so surreal."
"I know. But I had to intervene. I've only done it once before, it had to be done again."
"Meaning?"
"Callie and Ashley were so stubborn. Now look at them. Married, two children, a great group of friends." Dev looked around the table and thought of the friends that couldn't make it tonight.
"We are a good bunch of people."
"I had to intervene with these two. Carmen has a big heart and she needed to be open and honest with Olivia, just as Olivia had been with her." I nodded my head and allowed Amanda to continue. "I couldn't let anything happen to Carmen being back on duty. These two...they are an amazing match as are you and Angel, Callie and Ashley."
"Thank you." I became aware of everyone looking at me conversing to what appears to be thin air.
"Pass a message on to Carmen and Callie, please." I listened to the messages that Amanda wanted me to pass on to my friends, nodding my head and smiled as Amanda leaned down and kissed Carmen on her cheek. Carmen's hand slowly touched her face and a tear escaped down her face.
"That was her wasn't it?" Carmen asked.
"It was. She said...that she wished that she had the chance to have met you. But she is so damn proud of the woman you have become." Carmen looked in o thin air. Dev directed her and promised that Carmen was looking at Amanda, even if she couldn't physically see her.
"I wish I had met you too Amanda. You were a source of strength to me through the good time and the bad. I never got that chance to express out loud how much I loved and valued our friendship." I listened to Amanda and repeated what she said to Carmen.
