Ricky POV:
EJ caswell.
I thought I would never see him again.

It's been so many years, and I'm pretty sure none of my freinds even remember him or what happened , because so much has happened since.

I still don't know what happend that made him mad at me all those years ago, and I really just never plan on finding out.

EJ moving away was actually a great thing for my life, and I didint know at the time.  I met Nini who realized I was hurt back then. We became really good freinds, then something more. I felt like nini was my true soulmate, and now she has left me.

JUST like EJ did in middle school.

I'd also create tighter bonds with my freinds like Red and Ashlyn who have been really supportive and there for me throughout all these years, which I appreciate.

I didint realize while I was sitting at the lunch table thinking, my jaw was wide open and I was tearing up a bit. The two people I thought were my soulmates, have just become each other's.

"Uh you ok bro??"

"Uh yeah, yeah I'm good."

Big Red started to talk about his golfing again to try and "distract me" but it was not working whatsoever.
I couldn't stop staring at EJ. It wasn't Nini for some reason.

All of these thoughts were overflowing my head like water that just keeps being poured in a tiny glass, so I decide to take a breather.

"Uh red, I have to go to the bathroom."

I get up, carefully breathing unstable.

I see nini glance at me very innocently, like she wanted too help me, but her look quickly shifted to a "it's your fault"  kind of smirk.

I try and keep walking, but I pause.

Nini so into hugging EJ, clearly loving her life.
I see EJ turn his glance.

He looks at me.

I look at him.

We share a long but strong molment just looking in each others eyes, but it felt like we were connecting again.

Just for a molment.

My heart stopped for that minute of direct soul staring, before EJ looked away and went back to his hug with Nini.
