EJS POV:
I'm nervous. Yeah, that's an understatement.
I kind of questioned why I was here at this point. I was thriving at my old school, and now I'm here.
I'm should not be complaining, I have lots of support and nini. I even have a new musical 🎵, but something dosent feel right.
Something confusing was going on with Ricky, and I really wanted to talk too him but I don't know how. He broke my heart, and I swore to myself I would never forgive him. But maybe we never talked things through? Maybe I'm missing a key point?
I really need to focus on the big deal right now which is the hsm auditions nini and I are walking into right now.
"We're gonna kill this babe!"
"YEA we're gonna do great!!"
I yell as we walk into the very fancy dance studio
I was kind of confident I guess? I was getting in my head, about Ricky for sure.
I've yet to tell her about Ricky auditioning, I knew it would get her off balance, and I haven't even seen him here yet. So, that's a good sign, right?
"Alrighty everyone, time for the dance warmup!"
Mrs Jenn was so loud, I could barely hear the interesting music playing above.
I'm not great at dancing, though nini and I have taken many classes together . That's really when I fell in love with her I remember.
So, I tell her before we start. I want to comfort her.
"I love you neens, you're gonna do amazing" and gave her a hug.
Something was quite off
She blank stared at me for a solid 5 seconds and then said "thank you, you too!"
Did she not love me?
Did I not love her?
I was trying to get mentally prepared as I walked too the front of the line.
I'm ready,nini's ready I repeat to myself.
Until I hear something,
"Sorry, am I too late??? Can I still join???"
It was Ricky.
Nini's face was about as red as a tomato, and so was mine.
I did not know what to do.
"Yeah, your legs might just be a little stiff bud"
Mrs Jenn was funny, I liked her.
What I didn't realize is Ricky's assigned spot in the line was right next to me.
"Hi"
"Hi"
