*Skullora's POV*
I think I just broke Fox...
It took a while to tell her the whole story and to explain how my wings work. Now she is starring at Loki and I with a blank expression.
I mounted Firestar and gestured for Loki to get on as well.We defiantly need to leave.
"Holy shit your Tony Stark's little sister and your half dragon!"she said for about the hundredth time.I rolled my eyes and sighed."Yes Fox,I am...now can we please move on from this?We really need to get going."
She nodded and mounted Moon, but her eyes were still locked on my wings.
Loki pulled himself onto Firestar's back and rested his hands around my torso. Finally,we can leave.
Sense Moon can not fly Firestar will stay on the ground, just to make things fair.We will have to travel trough the night to make up for lost time and we still need to pick out a place disappear to.
"What about Asgard?"Fox asked hopefully."No..."I quickly replied.
"But you are on to something,we defiantly need to go to another realm."
I turned around to face Loki and smiled slyly."Got any ideas?"I asked as I tapped him on the noes.
"We should go to a place where not even an Asgardian would willingly go....Perhaps a place where they have lots of enemies."
"Someone deserves the best idea of the year award!"I said over enthusiastically. He smiled as he flashed his sexy green eyes.
Hey if you didn't want to hear my inner thoughts then you shouldn't have stepped inside my mind...just saying...And besides I don't remember saying that you could read my thoughts, technically you are trespassing!
"What about Jotunheim?"Fox said sarcastically.
In case you didn't know Jotunheim is the realm of the Frost Giants, who hate Asgardians with a passion.I think what they do all day is sit around and yell at each other. That is until one of them starts a fight, which only ends when one of them has been killed...Then they try to come up with reasons to hate Asgardians even more.
Long story short, this place would be perfect! That is if we could avoid its inhabitants...
"I have always wanted to punch a Frost Giant."I said laughed.
Loki crossed his arms,I think I offended him...Oh well,he looks so freakin cute when he's offended.I wonder how he makes that face...You know the one where he raises his eyebrows and lowers his chin to creat the perfect glance that says 'I love you but seriously...what the hell'(it's my favorite).
"I see how it is..."he said with a sigh.
I never thought it was possible to melt someone with just your voice, but GOD that accent.
I rested my hands on his shoulders and laughed."I wasn't talking about you smart one...You are to sweet to punch in the face."
Which brings me to my next point,he has become too nice.Don't get me wrong, that's a great thing, but for what I have to do next it could get in the way.I know for sure that Fox is going to hate it,but if they want to fallow through with this then we are doing it MY way.
"Next question,"I said seriously."Are you two sure you want to do this? It's going to be very dangerous and we will have to watch every move we make.If we want this to work you will have to do whatever I say,no questions asked."
I was speaking mostly to Fox,I already knew Loki's answer. He has already made it very clear that he would rather die than leave my side.
She laughed."Are you kidding?Im pretty sure we have already been over something like this before.I would fallow you into battle and die at your side.If you going than so am I."
Good,Im glad she's coming.Fox is a worthy opponent in battle, especially if she uses her hammer. It's so strange, she makes it look easy.Believe it or not that thing is really heavy and it hurts... A LOT,just take it from someone who has been hit with it on multiple occasions.Of coarse they were all accidents, but I wouldn't want to be the person who see hits for real.
"You know my answer."Loki purred as he began to play with my hair.
Because I have the ok,I am now going into extreme disappearance mode.(and yes that's a thing)
Let's see,the best way to disappear is to leave no traces of your self behind, or to leave as many things as possible.
I think I'll go with the second one this time.
"Murder scene!"I blurted out.Loki stopped playing with my hair and gave me another one of his glances."Im sorry love, but did you say murder scene?"
"Indeed I did!"I laughed.
According to Firestar, when I go into the mode I get an insane look in my eyes and I start acting crazier than normal.I think Loki and Fox noticed too, because now they both looked concerned.
"Who here has ever faked their own death?"I said happily as my hand shot into the air.Loki raised his hand squeamishly, but Fox did nothing.
"Ok...I can work with this!Who here has faked their own death in a gory fashion?"This time I was the only one, but this won't be a problem.
"Alright...Fox, how far away are we from being in ork territory?"
She rolled her eyes into the back of her head and muttered to herself for a few moments before giving me an answer.
"Ummm I want to say only a couple miles...But I wouldn't take my word for it.Why do you ask?"
I clapped my hands together loudly, startling Moon."This is going to be one of the hardest acts I have ever pulled off...BUT I know it's going to work!" I said as I slid of Firestar and began pacing back and forth.
"What is going to work?Frosty what are you going to do?"Fox huffed as she attempted to gracefully slide off of Moon, but instead she fell off of sideways.
I laughed before helping her to her feet, because only true friends laugh when you fall on your face.
"Oh...I just wanted to know because I thought it would be nice to invite a few orks to a tea party."
"Really?"she asked with raised eyebrows.
"I do believe that she is being sarcastic."Loki spoke up as he dismounted.
I nodded in reply as I squatted down close to the ground and began to brainstorm."I need blood...real blood, and lots of it!"I shouted suddenly.
Loki shrugged his shoulders,as if demanding large amounts of blood was normal. This was understandable. Im sure he has dealt with many forms of dark magic where most spells require the sacrifice of your own(or in some cases your enemies')blood.
Fox on the other hand was really freaked out by my request."NO!You are not doing any weird magic!"she yelled.
I stood up and crossed my arms."All I wanted to do was make a convincing murder scene! You wouldn't even have to do anything because the Avengers don't know about you!Besides...all I was going to do was take a peace of DNA and make blood. It would be our real blood but we wouldn't have to bleed. Then it would show up on a DNA scan as Loki and I."
Loki smiled and ruffled my hair."Tis my girl, dark and cleaver!"
"No,your still not doing it!No one is faking anyone's death!"Fox barked, shooting Loki a disapproving glare.
Dang it!So much for 'do what ever I say,no questions asked'.Oh well...can't please everyone.
Fox walked over to Loki and stood up on her tiptoes, sticking a raised index finger in his face."You are a horrible influence on her!"she spat.
He awkwardly craned his neck backwards, giving him a sort of double chin."If anyone has been influenced it 'twas I.No longer do I have the urge to commit evil deeds, hell, I hugged Thor for her!"
Awww he's so sweet!
Fox narrowed her eyes and backed off.
She crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows to make one of the most questioning faces I have ever seen.
For some reason, only she can pull off a face like that, sadly it been used on me many times. It's almost like she can stare into your soul.
"Umhm...Sooo if Odin told you that you could have the Thrown BUT you had to leave Skullora...would you do it?"
I may not have mentioned it before, but Thunderhead is basically an Elvin lie detector. So if Loki is lying(which I highly doubt)she can tell. Her Elvin eyes can see through even the most complicated illusions.
Loki smiled and responded calmly.
"I would tell him to take the Thrown and shove it...If it means that I would have to part from my beloved then he can keep it."Haha, screw you Odin,he's mine now.
Fox smiled and patted Loki on the head."Congratulations you passed...
But Im still watching you!"
He looked a little confused but happy at the same time as he gave her a half-hearted thumbs up."Fox is a walking lie detector..."I said with a laugh. "Oooh...now this makes sense."Loki said as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.
Now that Fox has made it very clear that I can't fake our deaths this is going to be a lot more difficult.Maybe if we just vanish without a trace they will have no idea what happened.
We could go to Jotunheim, but only for a few weeks. That is the only problem with all of this,we will have to spend the rest of our lives going from one place to another.
For me it would be fun,I hate staying in the same place for more than a few days and I love seeing new things. On the other hand,I think Loki would get tiered of it fast.I know that he wants to settle down for a while but that won't be possible.
I think Fox will be more than happy because she has never seen the world,
I can see a longing for adventure in her eyes. But I'm afraid she will quickly grow tired of it as well.
I nudged Fox in the side and raised my eyebrows."Do you wanna got to Jotunheim......maybe start a couple hundred wars?"
She started to laugh as she sang along.
"I never see you anymore, come out the door,it's like you've gone away! Brother we use to be best buddies but now we're not...I wish you would tell me why!So do you want to go to Jotunheim...it doesn't have to be Jotunheim..."
Then I yelled "Go away Thor!"and Fox hung her head in shame,"Ok bye..." Then we both started laughing so hard that we fell to the ground.
Poor Loki...he is so freakin lost.
After a few minuets I caught my breath enough to stand,Fox soon fallowed.
"Exactly how are we going to get to Jotunheim?"she said over-excitedly.
"Well..." I said as I snapped my fingers,
making my bag appear out of thin air.
"I have been working on something in my spare time."I rummaged through my bag and pulled out a rainbow colored crystal in the shape of a tree blowing in the wind.
I knelt to the ground and took out the stone in my scepter and tossed it to the side.
"Whoa what the hell are you doing?!?" Fox yelled as she ran and picked my stone up off the ground."You need this! You can't just throw it away!" "Calm down..."I huffed, dammit this stone won't even fit in my scepter."Ok never mind."With that I tossed my scepter over my shoulder and started to dig through my bag to find something that would be affective for channeling power.
Loki picked up my old scepter and began examining it in his hands.I prided myself with making it look exactly like his,and every detail is spot on.But it didn't fully capture his attention."What exactly are you doing love?"he laughed as he focused his full attention back on me.I think Fox was wondering the same thing, she had her head cocked to the side, which she does a lot now that I think about it...
"I'm(hopefully)going to open a door into another realm,Jotunheim to be exact!"
Loki then looked at me as if I had two heads. He placed his hands on his hips and slowly walked to my side.
"How in the nine realms are you going to do that? Not even I could pull off such a feat without the aid of an infinity stone or something of greater power!"
"This is a homemade Bifrost,it only has enough power to work once but it is all we need.I haven't tried it before so it may not even work...but I can try!"I said as I held up the stone.I carved it out of the supposed materials the rainbow bridge is made out of,and it is suppose to look like the tree of life...I don't think its shape will make a difference but hey, it's worth a shot.
Don't ask how I got the materials...I know a guy...
Finally!I found a branch if an old tree, I have no idea how it got there but I am not questioning my luck.It seems sturdy enough to withstand the blast from what I'm about to do.To be honest it would have probably destroyed my scepter. In most cases wood is a better conductor of magic than metal anyways.
I smiled as I placed the tree stone on the flatter end of the branch. Its colors lit up as it took root into the wood. The plain (what I think was oak) branch came to life with vibrant shades of all the colors of the rainbow before my eyes. The site only lasted a few seconds, but was one of the most beautiful things I have ever had the pleasure to witness.
I then stood up completely strait and placed my feet at shoulder length apart, putting all my weight on the new staff.
"Ok...You guys might want to stand back..."I said with not confidence what-so-ever.If this went wrong in any way I could end up stuck between realms or even worse...if this even works.
Loki quickly stepped back and crossed his fingers.
I took in a deep breath and channeled all of my energy into the staff. Suddenly a burst of wind appeared out of nowhere, causing my hair to blow wildly all over the place.Oddly enough, it only affected me.
Through the gaps in my hair I could see bright colorful lights swirling wildly around me,I think it's working!
I can feel my knees giving,it must be draining my energy but there is no way to back out now.
A freezing cold blast of air hit me in the face as the lights faded faster than they appeared.
The new surrounding world is defiantly Jotunheim...or at least I think it is...
Before I could tell what happened everything went black.
