Chapter 6

Loki and Skullora stopped and made camp for the night after they both agreed that it was too dark to try going any further.Unfortunately they were both too tiered to go to sleep.And without Firestar to scare away all of the unknown beasts in the surrounding woods Skullora was uneasy.All they could do was sit in extreme darkness,due to the fact that starting a fire during the night in Mirkwood was a horrible idea.
"Stop your worrying,"Loki laughed as he elbowed her in the side,"after what you did to those spiders I think we have nothing to fear!"Skullora chuckled nervously,"That's exactly what I'm worried about.Loki you can't just kill one spider and get away with it.But for some reason they let me get away.I just don't understand!"she said."The spider only won because I was trapped in a web.Hopefully I will not make the same mistake twice.So as the Midgardians say,I've got your back."he chuckled as he put his arm around Skullora's shoulder.She laughed."Well I'm glad someone does."
Skullora scooted closer to Loki and laid her head sleepily on his shoulder. He then began to stroke her soft black hair as if she was a cat. Soon she began to make a noise that sounded like a purr only lower and louder. "I-I-I'm sorry I've never made this noise before..."she said,her face turned a violent shade of red and she tried to back away but Loki's grip on her tightened."I like it," he proclaimed, "personally I think that it is adorable, also I did not know that dragons purred."He then wrapped both arms around her.
Skullora gave him a shocked look before speaking in the best British accent she could possibly do."How dare you call me adorable you mewling quim!I am Loki of Asgard and I have been burdened with a glorious purpose!" Loki laughed,"Let my guess...you also have an army do you not?" She held a finger to her Loki's lips and whispered,"Shhh...It was suppose to be a surprise."
Then they both laughed and Skullora relaxed in Loki's arms."There is very few people that can touch me without getting stabbed.Luckily for you I am too tiered to kill you."she said with a yawn."Then I shall gladly take advantage of that...but to be honest that's not the only reason why you do not care."he then gave her a soft kiss on the check making her blush."Its impossible to lie to me and you know it!You know exactly what I speak of." he whispered in her ear. Skullora snuggled to Loki who seemed pleased.
"Even if Loki is impossible to lie to he still makes a good pillow."She chuckled.Then she crawled onto his lap and wrapped her arms tightly around his midsection."Im being serious!Your the perfect pillow,soft yet cooling."
By this time Loki realized how tiered he truly was."Do you think we should get some rest?It has been an awfully long day."he said as he played with Skullora's hair."It might be a good idea...but what if the spiders come back.I can't just go to sleep!"she huffed.Loki put a finger over her lips and smiled."I demand that you stop worrying and rest,nothing you can say will sway my decision."Then with Skullora in his arms Loki laid down flat on his back.
She quickly tried to object,"But I-" "Shhhh...for Loki has spoken and you shall obey."he said as he lowered her head gently onto his chest.Finally she gave in and didn't complain.Slowly she drifted off to sleep and for the first time in forever Skullora felt safe.

When dragons sleep they give off enormous amounts of heat,which can be a good thing if your accustomed to freezing all of the time.So normally Loki was happy with being warm.
For some reason he wasn't able to go to sleep,instead he laid awake and petted Skullora. She was sound asleep and he found pleasure in watching her.He couldn't believe that he had found someone who trusted him enough to use him as a pillow.
Loki had done exactly what he told himself not to do,he was in love and at this point he didn't care.
Loki began to feel uncomfortable with laying on back for so long.But he didn't want to move in fear of waking up Skullora. She had relaxed even more and her head had came to rest over his heart.
He then wondered if she really felt the same way.With that thought he drifted off to sleep.

When Loki opened his eyes he found a huge fire colored pair of them starring back at him.Then the beast admitted a low growl.That was when it hit him, Firestar was back.
Skullora groaned and stretched before opening her eyes.She then suddenly remembered that she was on top of Loki."Good morning sleeping beauty." she said as she continued to stretch. Then she took notice of Firestar's growling."Oh stop it!"she yelled as she smacked the dragon on the nose. Firestar huffed before sitting down. She had stopped growling but now the dragon was giving Loki a death glare.
"She's just a little overprotective but see can get over it."Skullora rested her head on Loki's shoulder and gave him a sloppy wet kiss on the cheek.
"Can we just stay here forever...just like this?"he said with a groan."That sounds wonderful but I know that you must miss the sun as much as I do." she sighed."I don't need the sun as long as I have you.But if you wish to leave I am willing to do whatever makes you happy."he whispered into her ear.
"Oh dear god you really do like me...or your lying...ether way I still feel sorry for you."Skullora said with a confused look on her face."Even though it is hard to believe I am not lying.It would be very difficult but if the feeling isn't neutral-"before Loki could finish his sentence Skullora grabbed his horns and kissed him right on the lips. Loki was so startled that he fell backwards and Skullora was still holding on to him with both hands.Of coarse he did kiss back and nether one of them showed signs of stopping any time soon.
Before long Loki began to get a little too rough.He rolled over on top of Skullora,pinning her to the ground. The kissing became more aggressive as he gripped her shoulders with amazing strength.
Loki unzipped her jacket and tossed it aside.Then he began to unbutton her pants. Skullora stopped kissing and tried to push him away but Loki thought she was only playing.He pulled down her pants and began to remove his own.
"Loki stop!"Skullora yelled.He immediately got off of her with a look of gilt on his face."Im sorry you were driving me insane and I just let myself go too far.Please forgive me Skullora I would never hurt you."Skullora laughed,"It was my fault don't worry about it.To be honest I wouldn't have objected to you taking off my pants if we weren't in the middle of Mirkwood. Actually I probably would have removed your pants first."she said as she put on her pants and left her jacket unzipped.This made Loki smile.

The rest of the day Loki and Skullora walked down the path holding hands with Firestar(who wasn't happy at all)not to far behind.
