Mellissa
We pulled over at Ray's driveway and got out, heading to the huge house in front of us.
Ray's parents clearly were the most known in town, but Ray just didn't brag about it.
"Let's rock this party!" Liz said, holding hands with Drake.
My eyes caught sight of a handsome gentle guy, or should I say my boyfriend.
I walked towards his figure and wrapped my arms around him and pulled him into a simple hug.
I looked straight into his emerald eyes. It's those eyes that I get lost into.
That bright smile that would fill the room. That rich contagious laugh."Hey Lisa." He says with a small smile as he pulls away from the sweet hug.
"Shall we?" I say, heading towards the mansion.
"Of course my lady." A smirk is plastered onto his lips as he holds my hand.
"I love you."
The words flow our of my mouth before blush.
"I love you too baby." He says as he pulls me into a side hug.
*Baby*
**
"I don't think so." I say as I take a seat on the couch next to us.
Apparently, Jay had asked me to dance with him but since he won't insist, I shan't go.
Crazy right..
A smartly dressed Ray appears out of who knows where.
She put on a silver dress with long sleeves, which stops mid thigh though, black high heels to match with. She's not that tall though so I find her heels helping.
*No offense*
She has the maple red lipstick plastered onto her lips, making her smarter than I would expect her.
"Hey." She shouts in an 'I don't care' tone.
"Thought you wouldn't show up.""Well hey Ray." I say, holding back the eye roll. "Why wouldn't we show up?"
I ask in awe."Well, I see you've been quite busy with Jayden. You didn't have the time to get me a gift, did you?"
OH EM GEE. How did I manage to come without a gift. And if I would, I would get her a life. She's too mean for life.
Shes been jealous of why I took her ex..Jayden. And currently, our closeness faded away like that.
And that's probably why we didn't get an invitation.
"Should I be surprised?" She says, placing an evil smirk on her face, walking away.
I won't ever regret why I fell in love with Jay.
"Wanna dance?" I hear a cold hand grab my wrist.
Jay chuckled as he threw his head back.
He looked at me before placing his hands on my waist. He watched as I wrapped my hands around his neck, bringing him closer.
Swaying to the soft and slow music, I placed my head on Jay's chest which was approximately higher than me.
I listened to his heartbeat as he held me closely. The music was soon changed to The night we met. I could hear him sing along as I chuckled softly.
"Take me back, to the night we met..." He sung softly.
By the lyrics, I was slowly taken aback the night Jay and I met. I could use a hug right now.
I held back the urge to cry as I looked straight into his dark brown eyes. He had looked as innocent as he is. He leaned in closely to reach my level, pulling me into a deep kiss.
As sweet as it was, we were interrupted by the sudden change of music. They had played sugar by maroon 5.
I averted my gaze, to look at Liz, who was shouting loudly coping up with the lyrics, together with Drake.
"Sugar!" She shouted.
"Can we go out for a little while? Please?" Jay said, as we held hands.
He took me through the back door and into the back yard.
"No pool today! Great." I said as I chuckled.
"That doesn't mean we won't have fun for the night." He said before he carried me, bridal style as he walked towards I dunno where.
"Put me down Jay!" I said, uncomfortably due to the fact that I had a short dress on, I wasn't sure what it was showing.
"You bet!" He said stubbornly, as he placed me down, running back into the house.
"Jayden!!" I shouted, removing my heels from the running I was about to do.
"You jerk!" I said to myself.
I wasn't sure whether I would be able to run but I had the feeling I had to.
****
I pulled away from the tight hug I was in." I'll text you." I said to Jay as I headed towards the doorway.
"Goodnight babe." He said as she stood there, to watch if I would go inside the house okay.
Seriously!
"Mom!" I shouted as soon as I got inside the house.
"Your mom is not home." I looked over at the kitchen counter, where dad was standing, probably preparing dinner. He's a great chef by the way.
"Oh." I said.
"How was your night?" He said, not having a glance at where I was standing.
"Great." I mentioned as I took off to my room.
....
After I had changed into my p.jays, I quickly grabbed my phone from my hand bag which I had heard several times ringing.
I found a thousand messages from Liam.
"Where are you?"
"Are you coming or not?"
"I'm still waiting."
I felt the guilt knife cut through my heart as I read through the messages.
I remembered I had promised Liam we would hangout tonight, of which I completely bailed out.
"Sorry I bailed out. I'm really sorry. ^_^" I texted while I wiped the tears that we're flowing away.
I was really sorry about what I had done. I had never in a way disappointed Liam. And that's why I take myself as a bad friend. And am glad they still stick with me.
I soon remembered I had school tomorrow, so I went to bed, plugged in my earphones and tapped the saddest playlist I had arranged.
