Deal or No Deal

Alyssa quickly pulled out her phone to call her boss.

She walked away from them so she could talk freely.

"I can't believe Self screwed us. Did you know about this?" Lincoln turned to Alyssa angrily who was closing her phone.

"Would I be here just as confused as you are?!"

Alyssa was losing her cool.

"I can't get a hold of anyone over at DHS. My phone has been disconnected."

She threw her department phone onto the table.

"Self can't do this!" Sucre sounded just worried.

"He's the government. He can do what he pleases." Mahone voiced back.

Jessica jumped when Lincoln grabbed the chair beside her and threw it at the board in anger.

She jumped up and grabbed into his shoulders.

"Come on Linc. This isn't helping."

She rubbed his shoulders lightly.

Jess grabbed the chair out of his hand and placed it back down gently.

"Maybe we're wrong. The vans are still coming! Maybe they're just late." Sucre sounded hopeful and scared.

"They're not coming man!" Lincoln shouted to Sucre.

"You don't know that!" Alyssa slammed her hands down on the table.

"I need to use the phone and call Homeland. Self is working alone in this. Which means that if I can get ahold of my boss Herb Stanton then I can find out what is really going on."

Michael held the phone in his hand as he looked down in thought.

"Do we even know if he's really with Homeland?" Sucre asked.

"We were given guns and flown out on a CM-13. Its not gonna work with the DMV." Alex commented back.

Jessica turned to Alyssa.

"How did you even come to be brought into Homeland anyway? You're with the FBI that's a big leap even for you." Alyssa gave her a look of realization.

"He came to me directly. Said that I was being promoted and that the paperwork had already been taken care of. I didn't ask any questions. But maybe I should have."

Michael picked up the phone and started to call the Homeland office.

"Hi yes. I would like to speak to Don Self's supervisor please."

He listened to the other end of the line before he quickly hung up.

"This is starting to make sense now. The way he played it. He was always hesitant with official authorities. He said that it was because he didn't want the company to find out! But really it was to keep himself from getting caught. And you played right into it Alyssa. You have better training then that! I taught you better than that!" Mahone yelled at Alyssa.

"OK! I screwed up I believed him because I thought he was really trying to help the people I care about the most; including you. But you were fooled just as much as me." She argued right back.

"Alright you guys this isn't helping. We were all fooled by Self. But we have to figure out what Homeland knows and if they were in on it too from the beginning." Jessica said as she grabbed onto Alyssa's arm to get her to stop.

"Sooner or later Homeland is gonna figure out where we are. And when they do they're coming right here." Alex firmly stated not taking his eyes off Alyssa.
