TW: gaslighting and toxic relationship
You walked with Tom to the grounds. You were shaking but not enough for him to see. He didn't say a word until you were at the lake.
"Y/n I'm sorry." He said with such sincerity, but it didn't help soothe the pain of his words or actions. You stared at each other and he finally noticed the pain in your eyes and that you were shaking. He reached out to hold you but you pulled away. The tension between you wasn't the normal tension that felt almost erotic but tension of hatred, sadness, terror, and slight remorse. The silence between you could cut with a knife, you were to scared to talk to him, he just wanted to hold you.
You stayed like that for a moment before he finally spoke. "Y/n I love you so much, I want you to stand by me. Your my world and I know I hurt you, but I need you to forgive me. I can't live without you."
"......." you nodded silently. He moved to hug you again but you pulled away. That time he knew he messed up.Tom began to cry. "Y/n I'm sorry.. I've been so awful to you! I love you! I'm such a terrible boyfriend...." he went on and on you and all you could do was stand there you wanted to run back to the castle but last time you tried to leave it didn't turn out well..
After an hour of him going on he finally stopped drying his tears. "I'll walk you back up to the castle. Thank you for talking to me my love."
"No need I'll get back up by myself." That was the first time you'd spoken to him, it was hard especially after all he said. You wished he hadn't called you his love but alas you were stuck.A/n: sorry for my weird posting schedule! I'm trying to get better at it! I'm going to post two chapters today as an apology!
