Chloe had made her way through the library as she put her headphones back on, blasting music again. Chloe looked through the sections that involves paranormal topics and hopefully something that would at least give her a hint on her changing forms. Chloe looked around the selves, as she picked a book, skimmed through it and if she thought it was useful, the book would automatically be placed in her tote bag that she carried.
After probably a good twenty minutes of searching for books, Chole had finally gone through the whole section, that she had filled up her tote bag and now had to carry the rest of the books on her arms. Chloe made her way to a table, setting down the books in her arms and her tote bag on the table. She took a seat as she took off her headphones and put them and her cassette player to the side.
Chloe unloaded the books on the table as a waitress made her way to the brunettle. 'Hi there! Would you like anything to eat or drink?' the waitress said as she opened her notepad and took out a pen from her apron. Chloe smiled as she grabbed a book and nodded at the waitress, 'yes please. Can i please have a mocha ice coffee and a pumpkin croissant?'
The waitress nodded as she wrote down Chloe's order, 'is that all?' Chloe nodded with a smile, 'yeah that's all, for now. Just leave a tab open, I'm probably going to be here for awhile.' The waiter chuckled as she nodded, 'yes of course. I'll be back with your order.'
Chloe was left alone as she cracked open a book and begin her reading, as she heard soft music and chatter being heard around the library. Chloe was already six pages in, when the waitress came back with her drink and croissant, 'here you go. Anything else i can help you with?' Chloe smiled as she shook her head, 'no, but quick question. What time do you guys close today?'
The waitress smiled as she looked at the girl, 'we close at ten today. We have book club tonight at 7, so our hours are extended today. Plus we have a small band playing tonight as well.' Chloe scrunched up her nose in shock, 'a band?'
The waitress laughed as she nodded, 'yeah, they were asking for gigs and we like supporting small businesses and artists.' Chloe widen her eyes as she had her face in aw, 'wait that's so cool. That's really sweet of you guys.' The waitress smiled widely, 'yeah! Do you play anything?' Chloe nodded as she took a sip of her drink, 'yeah, i play piano and guitar, but i've been wanting to increase my instrument range.'
The waitress widen her eyes as a bright smile appeared on her face, 'omg! you should definitely perform something one day!' Chloe chuckled as she bit her bottom lip, 'maybe, i dont know.' The waitress laughed as she pulled out a card from her apron, 'well think about it, and if you do want to perform here one day, call me.'
Chloe picked up card and smiled as she read the card, 'thank you, Isabella.' Isabella smiled as she nodded, 'No problem, Chloe.' Chloe raised her eyesbrows as she pressed her lips together, 'how did you-' Isabella chuckled as she pointed to the tote bag, 'you name is in the tote bag, so i just put two and two together. But anyways, ill let you go back to your reading.' Chloe chuckled as she watch Isabella make her way to other tables, leaving Chloe to tuck the card into her wallet. Chloe returned back to her book and continued to read them for the rest of the time.
