The truth was that Chloe didn't have to stay afterschool to finish a chem test, she was actually visiting someone instead... let's just say some old friends. As Chloe walked through the door, she made her way to the living room when she realized that there was a new fresh set of flowers in the vase on the counter. She smiled at the new flowers and made her way to smell them, 'this is progress...'
An older women in her 40s, walked into the kitchen and started looking around for pots and pans to start making dinner. Chloe took a sit on the counter that the flowers were on and just observed the older lady as she started grabbing all the ingredients she needed.
As time went by, dinner was finally ready and the older lady started serving food into two plates, as she called out for her husband. A few seconds later an older man walked in and placed a kiss on his wife's cheek, which caused Chloe to smile at the interaction. 'Smells delicious my love.' the husband said as he grabbed his wife's and his plate and set them on the table as the wife grabbed two cups and the fresh tea she had just made.
The couple sat down and started eating while asking about each others day and if anything exciting happened. Chloe was near the fireplace looking at the pictures that sat on top, multiple pictures of a boy as he was growing up and a picture of the family together with smiles on their faces. Chloe smiled as she was looking at the pictures when she finally reached a picture that sat at the end of the fireplace which displayed the boy in front of a Christmas tree with a brand new guitar. Chloe smiled weakly as she analyzed the boy's face which showed nothing but joy and happiness from his new Christmas gift.
Chloe turned around and saw that the couple weren't sitting at the table anymore, they had moved to the couch in each others arms while watching tv. Chloe smiled at the couple and looked at the picture that stood on the fireplace one more time then made her way out the house. Chloe made her way down the block as she changed her form before reaching her car. Chloe smiled as she looked at herself in the car mirror, she had realized she had tears slowly pouring out. She wiped her tears away, turned on the engine and made her way to Carrie's.

Chloe was able to get out of her last class early to prepare for the spirt assembly, the girl knew she that she had the dance down to the core but she wanted practice before just incase. Chloe was making her way to the dressing room while she was going over the moves in her mind.
