Sorry it took so long for this chapter to come out! School has gotten in the way. Also I apologize in advance for any misspelled words. I was rushing to get this done before February. But I've kept you waiting long enough. Hope you enjoy!
Everyone headed back to Katelyn and Kawaii
Chan's house. Everyone except Teony, Daniel, Blaze, Jeffrey, and cadenza. They apologized for being so rude but each one had something planed in the morning that they couldn't miss. The group understood and said goodbye to them. Everyone kept a close eye in case someone might have followed them. Lucinda felt bad that they were doing all this for her sake. Katelyn made sure that all the doors and windows were locked. Kawaii Chan brought everyone a couple of drinks she had made the other day. Once everyone had settled down, Lucinda started to explain herself. "It all started back a few months ago.." She began. "At the Halloween party we had last year. My ex, Ivan showed up. With his little followers behind him. He tried talking to me about the past. What was strange was that he was trying to lure me away from everyone. His little group kept blocking all my ways to walk away. I all ready knew what he was trying to do. Even with my magic, I didn't want to case a scene in front of everyone. If it wasn't for Laurence stepping in, I might have done something I would have regret. But I thought that was the end of it. Till a few nights, he some how figured out were I live. And up till this point he's just been following me. Like a stalker. I often tend to lose sleep because of it. To scared to close me eyes for even a second. Because, I don't know if he's even there. I didn't want to get you guys involved. Everyone has there own lives, mine just seams to be here right now.." Lucinda's voiced trailed off. She held back her tears trying not to so the group her weakness.
"Is there anything we can do to help Lucinda?" Aphmau asked. "Yah, have you called the police?" Katelyn added on. Lucinda sighed and nodded. "I've tried but they aren't any help really. All they did was look around and tell me to "lock my doors," as always. They aren't much help at all. Which is really bad." "Well, Lucinda Chan can stay at Kawaii Chan and Katelyns house if she doesn't want to go home. If it's ok with Katelyn." Kawaii said cheerfully. Katelyn nodded. "Yah I wouldn't mind, we got a spare bed room." Lucinda thanked them but declined there offer. She didn't want to worry the group more that she already has. "I'll be fine.. I have my magic and.. hopefully that will be enough." Lucinda doubted her own statement. She seen how close he's gotten into her home. "Well, I- I mean, we should be going now..." The group agreed and started to leave as well. "And your sure you don't want to stay?" Katelyn asked Lucinda one more time. Lucinda chuckled nervously. "Katelyn sweetie, I think I can handle a stalker. I handled you back in high school after all." Katelyn rolled her eyes. "Just be safe getting home ok." Melissa came behind her and hugged Lucinda. Lucinda flinched at the touch. "She'll be fine! I'm with her so I can defend her. After all I am a strong we're wolf!" Melissa chuckled. Lucinda blushed. "Ok...." Katelyn reasoned. Melissa let go of Lucinda and they began to walk back to Lucinda's house. On the way, Lucinda felt anxious. She knew that gene was near her earlier, but she had lost him after they went to Katelyn and Kawaii Chan's house. Not knowing were he was, was more never racking then knowing where he is. Melissa could tell she was nervous. She gently placed her hand at her hip and pulled her closer to her as she continued to walk. "The moon looks pretty tonight, doesn't it?" She asked Lucinda. Lucinda blushed hard at the touch of Melissa's hand. She silently panicked inside her head. "Y-yah... full moons always have t-that effect on p-people.." Lucinda stuttered to say out. A few minutes later they had arrived at Lucinda's house. Lucinda grabbed her keys and began unlocking the door only to find that it was already unlocked. "Wait.. did I leave it open?" She asked. Melissa thought for a moment. "No... I don't think so. I remember you locking the door your self." Melissa replied. Lucinda panicked and quickly opened the door. Nothing looked out of place or stolen. "Nothing looks stolen. Maybe I did leave the door unlocked." Lucinda continued to think about why the door was unlocked. Melissa didn't believe that she left it open however. She knew that Lucinda locked it herself, she saw her. So, how could it be open? Then a loud noise came from the basement. Along with a few small noise of glass being shattered. "Oh no! The potions! Of course! How could I be so stupid! Gah!" Lucinda yelled in frustration. She quickly ran down the stairs that lead to the basement floor. Melissa closed the door and followed her. When Lucinda got to her potion room, there was glass shattered everywhere. She looked at her self. "Two, four, ten, twenty," She counted, making sure ever single potion was there. "Multiple one hundred and seven to four and you get..." Melissa soon reached the potion room as well. One look was all it took for her to know what happened. Lucinda quickly grabbed her book which held a record of how many potions she had. "Irene why!"She cried flipping through the pages. "Lucinda? Is everything ok?" Melissa asked. Lucinda didn't respond. Instead, she grabbed a light blue potion and splashed it on her self. Then in a flash she zipped up and down the different areas of the room. Melissa tried to keep up with her but she was to fast. "Oh! Swiftness potion." She sighed. Lucinda zipped around the room faster than the speed of light. Checking to make sure no major potions have been stole or destroyed. Melissa could see how fast she was checking and reading the labels on the different bottles. After what seamed like and hour, Lucinda's swiftness wore off. She relooked at her book. "Seven.." she said softly to herself. "Hu? Seven what?" Lucinda looked at her. "Seven missing potions and two of them are on the floor!" She exclaimed. Melissa was surprised by her response. Lucinda looked at the ones missing. "One love potion, the other a very dangerous prototype. Then a invisible splash potion, and two cat potions." Lucinda then closed her book and placed in back were she had got it. "Wow, this is a mess hu?" Melissa said, trying to soften the mood. Lucinda kept quiet. Instead she looked around the room. "I bet he did this..."she muttered to herself. Melissa chuckled awkwardly. Lucinda agreed and they went upstairs. Lucinda went to her bathroom and brushed her teeth while Melissa made sure that all doors and windows were looked. Lucinda got changed into her sleep wear which was a lose t-shirt and shorts and got in bed. She could hear Melissa opening the doors and closing them. Lucinda looked out her window. She saw the blinds open and immediately went to close them. After she did she heard Melissa walk up. "So, everything's locked up tight! And I made sure that there were chairs in front of the doors. Just in case." Lucinda smiled and thanked her. "What about the basement?" Melissa nodded her head and assured her that everything was locked up. Lucinda sighed and hoped in bed. Melissa went to the bathroom to get ready for slumber as well. Lucinda looked up at her celling. Slowly closing her eyes and drifting away. When Melissa came back to tell Lucinda she was off to bed, Lucinda was already asleep. Melissa's ears lowered and her tail laid low. She smiled at her sleeping peacefully before she closed the door. Melissa plopped down on Lucinda's bedroom floor were she had made a soft area for herself. Melissa proceeded to fluff her pillow out and cover herself with some blankets, that Lucinda let her barrow. She made herself cozy before she closed her eyes. Half way through the night, Melissa was woken up by a cold breeze. She barely had her eyes open before the cold breeze hit her. Melissa picked up her phone from beside her and looked on the weather app for the temperature. "What the-21 degree out side!" She softly whispered. Melissa didn't know how to control the air conditioning so all she could do was find more blankets. She stared to regret wearing shorts and a lose shirt to bed. As she got up and went to go find more blankets, she noticed that Lucinda had kicked her covers away from her. Melissa got the covers and lift them back over her. But Lucinda still continued to shiver. Melissa thought for a moment before laying next to her. She careful and gently, wrapped her arms around Lucinda and pulled her into a cuddle so the both of them could be warm. Lucinda was facing the opposite side of her. Melissa blushed as she felt Lucinda snuggle onto her arm. She closed her eyes and drifted back off to sleep.
