Ok so this chapter may have been cringe... I'm not good at writing stuff like this I apologize for the loooooooooooooong wait... I wanted to enjoy my summer and take care of my mentally health. Also I've kinda grown out of this fandom... but I woke give up on the book. So yay! But it's getting harder to write as I'm not good at writing mushy love stuff. So this may be cringe to read but I hope you enjoy.
Again sorry for the long wait! So sorry! Take care guys!

They sat there, for another hour. Melissa could
tell that Lucinda had been keeping in her feelings for far to long. Just like someone she knew. Lucinda finally pulled herself together enough to get back to her house. She shared what she had been keeping in for years as they walked back to the house. When they got back to her house, Melissa tightly hugged her. Lucinda blushed and hugged her back.

"Lucinda I'm so sorry that happened to you, no one deserves that kinda of relationship or abuse." Lucinda closed her eyes as her heart began to beat. But, this time, it wasn't fast nor slow. It was more calm, but yet fast at the same time. Melissa's heart was beating the same way. They stood there, hugging for a minute before Lucinda came back into reality. She pulled away from her. "We should be getting to bed now," Lucinda said. "I realized I have work in the morning." Melissa looked at her. "What type of work do you do?" She asked. Lucinda rolled her eyes. "I sell potions, I told you about my job remember." Melissa took a moment to think. "No, I don't think you ever did Lucinda." Melissa responded. "Oh, well, that's my job. I sell potions to people. That's why I have so many pre made." Lucinda began to walk up the stairs. Melissa followed her. After they brushed their hair and teeth, they began to settle in for the night. Melissa got in on her mattress with one or two blankets with her. Lucinda hoped in her bed and began to dose off. Just as Melissa was about to doze off, a faint, "Melissa," was heard. Melissa looked over at Lucinda. "Yah?" She replied. "D-do you want to sleep in my bed tonight? I feel bad for making you sleep on the floor." Melissa thought for a moment. "Only if you don't mind." Lucinda didn't say anything. Melissa took that as a sign that she didn't mind. Melissa got up and made her way in to Lucinda's bed. Melissa was on the right and Lucinda was on the left. "Thanks." Melissa said. "It's no problem, goodnight Melissa." She blushed. "N-night.."

The morning arrived with the sun shining brightly on mystreet. Through a small crack of the blinds was a ray of sunlight, shining ever so lightly. Lucinda opened one eye slowly to see the ray of light. "Must be around seven," she said to herself. A soft snore arose from the other side of her. Lucinda turned to face Melissa, who was still sleeping softly. Lucinda smiled at her and and got up. She quickly and quietly got her clothes and snuck out. She closed the door on her way out.

Lucinda thought about how she told Melissa about her abusive ex's last night. She sighted, feeling a bit guilty. For what reason she didn't know. "I have nothing to feel guilty for... right..." she asked herself. Lucinda washed her face with water from her bathroom sink. "Why would they continue to come after me anyway.. and why did he steal the potions.." Lucinda shook off her thoughts and walked down stairs. She grabbed a pice of toast and walked out the door. She walked down to her little shop that she owned. Lucinda keep wondering when Melissa was gonna move out. "She said that she would only be stay for a while but," she thought, "it's been two months at least.. yet.. I've grown accustomed to having her stay. Should I go ahead and ask her if she would like to stay permanently? But then Gene and Ivan would be after her... I don't want to but her at any risk... maybe it's best that she finds another place." Lucinda blushed thinking about to first time they met. How her eyes sparkled In the light. And how embarrassed she was when she talked to her. She thought back to when they accidentally kissed. Lucinda couldn't help but fell strange. "No! Lucinda! S-she's just a friend... that's all..." Lucinda told herself. "Besides.. she might be straight anyway..."
