Evie Of The Isle

Contillion

A week later Mal was looking through her dresses as she was getting ready for today. But today was not a normal day; today was contillion.

Mal finally picked out a dress one of the dresses. It was purple with black trim and a very thick skirt part. Mal then put the dress on Evie's old bed, and sat back down since she had a little bit of time before contillion actually started.

Meanwhile on the isle Evie has just finished getting lunch served to all the villain kids. She knows that today is Contillion, And had a plan to surprised Mal and Jay.
Evie then returned to the hideout to talk to Carlos, Dizzy, and Uma about the subject.

"Hey guys I am back." Evie says placing the leftover food on the table.

"Hey E how did it go?" Uma asked Evie

"Every thing went extremely well. I think the isle kids are finally use to have enough food. They did not fight over it this time." Evie says happily glad they were making an impact.

Carlos has also been thinking about contillion. He so wanted to be there for Mal. But he did not know how he could be so he asked Evie, "May we talk for a minute alone please. Evie nodded her head heading t Carlos' room for they could talk alone. Once they got in Carlos gently shut the door.

"What did you need to talk about that was so urgent?" Evie asked quietly.

Carlos answer, "Contillion I really want to be there for Mal, and hang out with Jay."

Evie nodded in understanding, " Yeah I want to be there with Mal and Jay. So that is why I am going to ask Uma if we have a few hours off." Evie says happily to Carlos who perked up a bit

"Really!" Carlos asks excitedly.

"Yep now let's go talk to her before she leaves for work." Evie said opening Carlos' door and heading to talk to Uma. "Hey Uma we want to take a few hours off today. For we can rest?" Evie asked hoping Uma would say yes.

"Yeah  sure you deserve a break." Uma replies as she starts heading to the door.

Evie smiled happily, "Come on Carlos I got your suit in my closet." Evie says as she walks to her room; grabbing the two Contillion outfits. She then gives Carlos his red suit. She then shuts the door for she can change.

Evie then looks through her suitcase until she found her makeup. She then put on a bit before looking at the time. "CARLOS LETS GO." Evie yelled from her room to his.

Carlos quickly got out of his room and  went to Evie ready to see his other friends.

Evie smiled at him, "Shall we?" Evie asked playfully

He answered, "We shall."

Mal was now getting ready for contillion  which was in about thirty minutes away. Mal heard a knock on the door and sees Jay in his suit.

"Are you ready Lady Mal?" Jay joked.

Mal sighs, " I am ready as I will ever be. I wish Evie and Carlos could be there though." Mal says to Jay

Jay nodded, " Yeah I wish they could be there to, but they are  on the Isle with no way off."

Mal nodded, " Yeah I know but still." Mal's says as she gets up and starts heading for the boat contillion would be on.

Jay follows beside Mal knowing this was going to be stressful for his friend, but all he could do is stand beside her, and let her know she was going to do great as lady of the court.

Evie and Carlos stands at the edge of the isle as Evie quickly said the spell, "Loyal steed proud and fair you shall take us anywhere." The footpath magically appeared again. Both quickly ran through the barrier. Carlos looked at his watch.

"I think we will get there perfectly on time." Carlos told Evie as they continued to walk to the contillion boat.

Evie smiles, "That is great I do not want to be late for the contillion." Evie says happily as she looks over and sees the boat getting closer and closer.

They continued walking for fifteen minutes. The hopped aboard the boat. Trying to be as quiet as possible the sun was about to set making the ocean look absolutely beautiful. Evie sighs at the sight this was the only thing  she missed about Auradon. Evie and Carlos see Mal and Jay

Evie and Carlos looked at each other having a silent conversation. They then walks towards them and then silently walk up silently beside them.

"Cause we are rotten?"

Mal and Jay turn around slightly surprised by there motto. That only Evie and Carlos would know. Both looked happily at their friends before giving them a bone crushing group hug.

Both Evie and Carlos happily returned the hug even though they were being constricted. "Guys can not breathe Evie choked out.

Mal and Jay lighten their grip after hearing that. "Sorry you two we are just surprised you are here." Mal said happily to her two friends.

Carlos chuckled lightly, "It is called a surprised for a reason." He said backing up for he could look at his friends. "Wow you guys look..."

"Perfect!" Evie exclaimed looking at the suit and dress she had made a few week prior.

"I guess we do thanks for making these  Evie their great." Jay says taking a few pieces of chocolate.

Evie smiled, "No problem." Evie said as she took another step back seeing that Ben was getting ready to start the contillion. Evie then dragged the boys back with her. "Good Luck M." Evie says as they went to the front of the crowd to watch.

The contillion went well. At least until a wave soak the boat, and everyone in it. All four smiled as they looked out to the sea. Ben had offer to take four of the younger VKs within the next six months. He also promised Evie and Carlos he would keep touch with them in the Isle, and get the things they needed. Evie and Carlos looked to Mal and Jay, "We better get back to the isle tommorow I promised to teach Dizzy and Celia  how to grow plants and how to sew for they can help." Evie said sadly as she looked to the Isle.

"Yeah Evie is right. I have to start on a new device for we can talk through the barrier without having to send note which could take days to get." Carlos says as he ran his hand through his wet hair.

Mal and Jay nodded sadly, "We understand hopefully you can get that device to work for we can video chat each other.".Mal said mainly to Carlos.

"Be safe."  Jay said as they shared a group hug saying their motto again. Before Evie said the spell, then her and Carlos started walking towards the Isle."
