Evie Of The Isle

A Set Up.

The three stood shocked, at what they heard.

Evie nodded, "Yeah that is Uma the Queen of the Isle." Evie said nervously ready for Mal to get mad at her, but surprisingly the yelling never came.

They looked at Evie even more shocked, by the news Uma was queen. " So you are saying Shrimpy made that much of an impact on this place? " Mal asked .

Evie slightly nodded, " Well sort of. Ben taking us the kids with the worst villain parents. Gave hope to the rest of the isle. Every villain kid had a choice to only listen to their parents when it could be life threatening, or to follow in there parent footsteps and be a villain. Uma saw the hope and started helping on her spare time. Giving the villains kid's a shelter and safe haven away from their parents during the night. Soon enough the villain kids trusted her to help them the best to her ability. So she made herself Queen of the Isle.

Uma was starting to lose hope after around four months. She thought we had forgotten about our roots, but she did not tell any of the villain kids that. She did not want them to lose hope. When I sent an outfit for one of the VK's Uma found it. I told her that King Ben was trying to get everyone off the island, but it was going to take some time." Evie explained to her friend.

"Wow, Uma would have been the last one I would have thought to turn good and help her fellow VK's." Jay said.

Evie sighed, " Just because she does not like us does not mean she does not want the best for the villain kids." Evie snarkily said annoyed that her friends still think Uma would be bad just because they were enemies.

"I think we should apologise." Carlos says.

Evie blocks the entrance to her room. "I do not think that a great idea" She say rushingly while still blocking the door.

"What is not a good idea." Dizzy asked startling Evie and making her jump.

"Oh Dizzy I did not hear you come in." Evie sighs in relief. As she lets Dizzy in her room. Before blocking it off again. "And we were just talking about. Why my friends should NOT apologize to Uma."

Dizzy looked at Mal Jay and Carlos. Then squealed, before calming down,and saying, "Evie is right Uma is still holding a grudge on you three. The only reason she accepted Evie because she wanted to help the Isle. She also thinks you forgot your roots, because the silly Auradon kids have made you soft, and she is also a bit jealous because you get a fancy life while we are still stuck here suffering." Dizzy said looking at all three of them very seriously which made Evie giggle as she looked out the window nearest to her seeing it was almost dark.

"Dizzy is right you guys should not try Uma she still as fierce as she once was. But anyways it is getting late, and Uma will not be back until one in the afternoon. So you guys get some rest. She said shooing her friends out of her room. I'll see you in the morning. Guys we will talk more then." She said shutting her room door on them, and sighing as she made sure Evie was in bed before she started sewing again.

An hour later she was still at work, on her newest creation for Squirmy one of the Smee children. She was enjoying the sound of her sewing machine.

Carlos could not sleep that night, but it was not because his bed was uncomfortable. He was thinking about all Evie had said. How did he not notice that Evie was struggling? Finally after a few more minutes of twisting and turning he went into the living and sat down on the tattered couch. Carlos could not believe he was thinking this, but it was nice being on the isle. If only there is some way both worlds could be united.  But he knew they could not.

Evie was still working on Squirmy's outfit when she heard a crash, and saw that the shelf beside her build had fallen. She sighs I'll have to fix that later Evie thought as she went out of her room and immediately bumped into Carlos. Knocking both of the teenagers down. With a quiet thud. Both of them groan at the impact.
