As usual, I was looking for equipments to make me look cool. I then remember that four years ago, I would go to the inn at Yulgar and buy equipments. So that's exactly what I did. I went to Yulgar and surprisingly, the place was like a ghost town. Nothing. No one was talking. Everyone was afk (away from keyboard). It was quite saddening knowing that people used to talk there all the time.
I was in the middle of buying equipments when someone advertised a guild called Skyward. I forgot her name but the only thing she always did as an officer was to recruit people. She recruited me. During this time, I was still BIueJay and not Impersonation. One day, someone asked me a question.
"Why are you wearing red equips when your name is BIueJay?"
Of course, I felt stupid at that point. I started looking for stuff that was blue but still looked cool and would actually look like a set. Like they would all fit. Also, during that time, no one really noticed me in the guild, Skyward. I asked several questions and everyone just ignored me.
After not being able to find a lot of cool looking blue equips, I decided to search up videos on YouTube and maybe there's one about blue equips. I came across a video where the person talked about changing his ign (in-game name). I searched up the steps to change my ign and it cost 2k acs and I had around 12k during that time. The next step was to find a new name I would change my ign to. I searched up Crayons since I loved color-customizable (cc) items but it was already taken. I then searched up Impersonate and it was also taken. I then searched "Impersonation" and to my surprise, it wasn't taken. I then decided to change my ign to Impersonation.
I didn't have the pressure onto me anymore to wear blue equips only. The only reason why I named myself BIueJay in the first place was because bluejays are my favorite kind of bird.
I talked again in guild chat and for the first time, they noticed me. Sgt_al called me Impres. Amypond8 or Amy called me Imp. Shyaroni or Shy called me Imp as well. Several others called me Impers. No one really called me Impersonation.
Fast-forward several nights later where Amy was feeling all suicidal. She was around 11 or 12 which was surprising since she said during the first day I joined Skyward that she had a kid. I later find out according to her that her dad raped her. I don't know whether it was the truth or a lie but for some reason, I felt pity for her.
During that time, she was saying all the things she could do with 2k ACs. Me, feeling pity for her, offered her to buy her some ACs. I asked her several times if she trust me with her account and several times, she didn't mind. I logged into her account and bought her the 1 month membership package with some ACs for only $13. Like I said, money isn't really a big of a deal for me.
She felt happy. She felt grateful. I was happy that she stopped feeling suicidal. I don't know why but I felt like her happiness rested in my hands. That it was up to me to make people happy. And this issue occurs several times as the story progresses.
She quit Skyward the next day where she forms a guild called "Kill Miley Cyrus" which was just plain absurd.
