Seul's POV

San's eyes were the first thing I saw when I came to. I watch him as his eyes widen and he stands up abruptly, causing his chair to go skidding across the room. He hits the emergency button and quickly dives down to engulf me in a hug. "Seul" he says quietly. Voice cracking in emotion. "Thank god." He gasps out quietly crying into my shoulder.

"San. Were you here the whole time? How- how long was I asleep?" My voice comes out thick and coarse. He pulls his head back, choking down his sobs and answers, "Two, two days. Seul. They said you were fine. But I was so scared." He burrows his head in my neck again.

"San, we need you to let go of her." A nurse calls out. He squeezes me lightly one more time before backing away and sitting down in the chair. Two nurses come over and check my vitals, making sure that my IV is secured, as well as checking my responses to my environment. They draw some blood to check and hurry back out of the room. Leaving me and San alone again.

He's sitting still staring off into space. "What's on your mine San?" He looks over at me blankly then, seeming to snap out of his state, blinks and shakes his head. "Oh nothing much. I had a weird dream that's all." I nod my head at him, and look away, searching for a clock.

"San, what time is it?" I ask after searching the room. He pulls out his phone, "9 PM."

"Oh, ok." I respond. Of course I had to wake up when it was late. If I'm able to go home, it won't be until tomorrow. My mind drifts back to thoughts of what San had said earlier. . . He had a weird dream. I wonder if it was like mine. Thinking about the dream just brings back the stench of death and rot. The calmness during the dream, and the pain of being ripped across the floor.

The door to my shared room opens and a nurse walks in, tipping her head at my roommate and continuing through to my room, bowing slightly before continuing forward. "Ms. Choi, your blood tests came back. The doctors didn't find anything in your tests. You seem perfectly healthy. The angle at which you feel essentials knocked you out. If you wish, you may leave tomorrow." She smiles at me and quietly leaves the room.

"I guess I should tell the boys. Or should we surprise them?" San pips up from his chair. I look over at him and the usual playful glint is back in his eyes. "Let's surprise them." I answer. "How are they, do you know?" He looks down at his phone then back up to me and shakes his head lightly.

"Seonghwa dropped you off, they quickly got a room ready for you and told us that only one person could stay with you. So obviously I did. I. . . Well, I haven't left since the time I arrived. And I haven't been answering their calls. . . They don't know if you're healthy, when you're going to come home, or even if you're alive. I'm not sure if mom knows yet either. . ." He looks down with shame in his eyes.

"They understand." I speak out. "I'm sure they do. They understand, and they'll be very excited to see the both of us tomorrow." I open my arms wide and he stands up and hugs me tightly. "I'm sorry Seul, I love you so much." He whispers and holds me tightly. "I love you too, San."

If anyone thinks that this sibling skinship is weird. . . Well oh well cause I'm pretty sure it's not.
