Although you watched as Mikasa hugged all over Eren you couldn't help but fume. It wasn't the confession that threw you off. It was the fact that you were vulnerable and opened up to him, shared a scarce story with him just to share that with someone else.
Low Blow.
Even for a confession.
Days went by and you continuously ignored Eren and Mikasa. Eren was the only one who eagerly wanted to talk to you. Mikasa and you were never really on good terms so it wasn't an issue to ignore her.
"Y/N come train with me!" Eren waved you over but, you walked over to your friend Annie anyways. "Seems like you and Jaeger are having issues." You trained with Annie often so you were around the same tier as her in combat, not better than Annie though.
"That ASSHOLE," You practiced punching while Annie held the hay bag still. "Manipulating me, Getting my hopes up," You punched the bag harder. "Gave everything so he could impress that bitch."
Annie smiled. "Wow i'm proud of you Y/N, you finally realized how shitty men are." You rolled you eyes and stopped to wrap your hand again.
"Uh oh trouble in paradise amirite." A hefty arm wrapped around your arm and squeezed you. "Ymir! Where did you come from."
"It doesn't take a lot to see you're heartbroken." You and Annie stared at her not buying the so-called sympathy card she was drawing. Ymir rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine. Christa has been worried so I promised to check up on you."
You made a motion with you hand mocking Ymir's voice. "i pRoMiSeD tO cHecK uP oN yOU." Annie chuckled and put down the hay bag. "Okay okay fine. Just. Sit with us for lunch. Erwin says he'll have an announcement later. "Okay fine." You said. As you girls walked passed the training grounds and into the building you stopped by your old cabin and started to gather your items.
A knock on the door interrupted your cleaning. "Need any help?"
"Not from you." You grumbled. Eren licked his lip and scoffed. "You haven't trained with me. Sat with us for lunch. Or even tried to come and study with us. What is up with you Y/N?"
You clenched the bag filled with your belongings and closed your eyes.
"Don't snap. Don't snap." You told yourself. He still smelled the same from that night. The biggest regret you had was getting comfortable with him that night. TOO comfortable.
"Ask your girlfriend." You pushed past him and walked out the door. "Survey Corps here I come."
You looked around you saw a scarce amount of people joining the corps. As expected after your first encounter with the titans days ago.
