It was a rainy friday, but it wasn't the gloomy rain. You liked the change of scenery, after being locked up in the apartment for so long due to the snow. It was finally spring. But, it was agitating seeing how many people kept trying to check up on you after your boyfriend had gone to jail.
Drunk driving. Killed 3. You haven't seen him at all, you called once but even before he went to jail he made it seem like your presence was an issue to him. The only person who came around and respectfully kept you company was your close friend Zeke. AKA you boyfriend's brother.
He was a sweet guy, coming over for movie nights, picking you up and dropping you off for work. Zeke was the best friend any girl wanted.
You never saw it as an issue to get close with him, you both agreed to keep things platonic, one of the reasons being that Zeke didn't care for a relationship.
The two of you teamed up to help each other when it came to a certain menace though, and that was Eren.
You rushed around the apartment with balloons while Zeke helped lay out all the food and snacks he made. You wanted to give your boyfriend a warm welcome home and who better to do that than his brother and girlfriend.
"Do you think I should get the drinks?" Zeke asked.
You stared at him shocked then you softened your expression. His license was taken and none of you planned to go out that night so... "Why not?"
He shrugged and pulled out a few beers from the fridge. The both of you froze once you heard the door locks clicking. "ZEKE! GO! GO!" You half whispered. Zeke ducked behind the couch while you hid behind the bedroom door that lead into the living room. The door closed and you saw your boyfriend for the first time, he had gotten taller, his hair now went a little past his neck, and his shoulders got broader.
"Shina!" He called out. Confused, he walked into the living room, and was greeted by two people jumping out and screaming. "WELCOME HOME EREN!" While Eren smiled at your bubbly surprise he scowled a little at Zeke. "Thank you guys." He said.
"I hope you're hungry, we made food and snacks, and I was thinking the three of us could watch most of the movies that came out while you were away."
Eren looked down and squeezed you while pecking your forehead. "Of course." He looked over again. "Zeke is joining too?" He said flatly. You slapped his chest and groaned. "Don't be so mean to your brother Eren."
Eren huffed and walked over to the table to crack open a beer. You frowned slightly, knowing that when he drank he got aggressive, but you decided to let it slide since it's been so long.
