"Come race me." You demanded, tugging on Levi's sleeve. This is the third time you asked him. It was hot outside, and everyone was finished with training, so you guys decided to close the day with outdoor activities.
It was only your small group, accompanied by Levi since he was around, and other scouts who sat by the sidelines just watching the fun.
"What's in it for me?" He pushed himself off of the tree.
You stood silent, not exactly thinking of a reward or punishment for winning or losing.
"Fine." He said.
You clapped your hands and dashed over to your group of friends. "I'm racing the Captain, loser has to clean the headquarters all weekend."
"Uhhh...Y/N...that's considered a reward to Levi." Annie said.
You stroked your chin and thought about it....she was right. "I'll think of something!"
You walked over to Levi, who was stretching his arms, preparing to run. "Winner gets a day off with a person of their choice. How about that?" You smiled.
He gave a nod, and looked over to Christa who held a small white flag. "Are you guys ready!" She shouted.
"Set.....GO!" She waved the flag frantically and you sprinted ahead, leaving Levi in the dust. You looked back and saw that he was standing there, watching you with his arms crossed. You slowed down, but got alarmed once you saw Levi hopping and beginning to run ahead.
"DAMMIT Y/N RUN!" Annie yelled. You ran faster, and this time you didn't look back because you could already hear his swift, and heavy footsteps catching up to you.
You pushed harder, breathing in and out through your mouth, drying out your throat. But to no one's surprise he ran right past you, leaving you in the dust. You could hear all the people watching groan at your apparent loss. Levi ran past Christa, setting his win in stone. Not too long after you ran past her as well.
"You really didn't think this through did you?" He scoffed.
You shook your head, and dropped to the ground, looking at the sky and catching your breath. Levi walked and stood over you, tilting his head. "So who are you gonna take the day off with? Maybe Hange will appreciate a break." You suggested.
