Amelia

Stepping out of the bathroom I go over to the large mirror. I am surprised by the reflection. It's as if the dress has made me look like a completely new person. The pale blue colour  matches my eye colour perfectly. Molly, Charlotte, Penelope, my mum and I all have the same eyes. I look like my dad in every other aspect of my appearance, but the rest of my sisters look like my mum. I have brown hair, they have blonde. I have wavy hair, they have straight hair. I am pale, they are tanned.

The dress is also fitted and mermaid-style like my Molly's dress, but the train is much shorter. It has thin straps, which cross over at the back and do up at the bottom of my back. It is completely covered in the same lace as my sisters wedding dress. So they match.

"You look beautiful, Mil" Molly says to me snapping me out of the trance I am in because of the dress.
"Thank you, but nothing can beat the way you look in that dress" I reply as I finally step away from the mirror and join her over on the couch, to wait for the other 4 bridesmaids.

Whilst waiting we chat about what we have done in the past months since we saw each other last in person. We talk on the phone almost everyday though so there isn't much that we don't know about each other. She tells me how the wedding preparations are going so far, whilst I tell her how my life in London is.

The final bridesmaid comes out of the bathroom and we all stand up. My mum is now full on sobbing, as she is looking at us all together.

"You all look so perfect, thank you Heather for making all of these gorgeous dresses. They are your finest creations yet" My mum gushes, as she goes to hug Heather. I agree, the dresses are absolutely perfect.
"It's my pleasure, I loved making them and I can't wait for the wedding" Heather replies clapping and smiling from ear to ear.
"Can I get a picture of you girls?" my mum asks Molly.
"Yeah of course mum, just don't show it to anyone else until after the wedding, don't want the paps getting ahold of the pictures and ruining the surprise" she replies. The paparazzi never leave our family alone. I wouldn't be surprised if they caught us arriving here.
"Okay sweetheart" my mum replies as she gets her phone out from her bag, to snap a quick picture of us.

We all smile at the camera for a nice picture, but then we take some fun photos doing different poses just for fun. In one photo we all blow a kiss towards the camera and in another we all have our backs towards the camera, but are looking over our shoulders laughing.

After we finish taking pictures, we take the dresses off and put them into the correctly labelled fabric storage bags, so that we can safely transport them home. Molly is going to take them in the back seat of her Range Rover, since she is coming to our parents house to get ready for her hen night, and also my car doesn't have any room in it for the dresses to be safely transported without creasing them.

Heather is going with Molly in her car, the same people as before are going in mine, Meg and Kayleigh are going in Kayleigh's   and Fiona is also going with them, since she took a taxi to get here. But we are all going to my parents house, to get ready for the hen party, where more people will be joining us later when we actually get ready. However more are meeting us at the restaurant as well.

We leave Heathers hotel room and walk towards the lifts, each carrying our dresses and being careful not to let them drag on the ground. Charlotte has a much easier job because her dress is shorter than the rest of ours and only reaches her knees, but actually has a back. This is because Mum and Molly decided that Dad would have a hissy fit if Lottie wore the dresses that the rest of the bridesmaids are wearing, because they are backless and it wouldn't be 'appropriate' for a 15 year old to wear in his eyes. He still see's us all as his little girls, even though Molly and I are in our twenties and moved out of the house years ago.

One lift isn't big enough to fit us all in, so I wait behind with Molly whilst the others go down. As soon as the lift doors close Molly turns to me and says "You know how you and Hero have sort of reconnected again"
"Yeah?" I reply unsure where this conversation is going.
"Well. I was thinking about inviting him to my wedding, since his mum is already coming. What do you think?" She asks me.
"Yeah, I'll tell him he's invited and ask him if he can come when I get back to London, if you want me to. We're going to go out for lunch or something, so I'll tell him then" I reply
"Actually, could you ask him if he can come sooner than that, I just need to know numbers and names to give to the security sooner rather than later. You know how they get when large groups of people come to the house"
"Yeah I know, I'll call him tomorrow then and text you whether he is coming or not"
"Okay, thank you" she replies smiling.

Just then the lift comes back up, so we get in and go down to the reception. The rest of the group are waiting for us by the door. We all walk out together and go over to Molly's car to carefully put the dresses in the back seat. Then when all the dresses are safe and secure, we split off into our different cars and head to my parents house.
