A few days had passed since the club mission. I'd made sure all the clothes I had put on were as loose fitting as possible, just to make up for how the mini dress had made me feel. Herc had already told me he thought I looked beautiful no matter what I wore which caught him a swift smack to the side of his head.

In those few days, Aaron had made me test out a few different pieces of equipment he'd designed, including a bow and arrow that shot explosive arrows. I'd told him who used bows and arrows in this day and age and Hunter chastised me for saying such a thing about a beautiful weapon. In response, we all called him robin hood. Even Cam.

Hunter made me train everyday, forcing Cam and Hercules to pretend to fight me. Aaron watched and refused to join under the claim that he'd never be close enough to fight anyone. Herc then proceeded to pin him until Aaron claimed 'Hercules was the most handsome man in the world'.

Aaron and I returned to watching films every night. Hunter forced us to watch Shrek 2 one night claiming it was the best film every made and he'd watch no other film. It was the only film he watched with us.

It came to the fifth day and we'd heard nothing from Dominic or any of his people. Aaron monitored all media activity and had reported nothing whilst everyone, including me, had people with their ears to the ground to report anything they heard. No movement, no plans, no repercussion, nothing had been heard.

We all sat in the living room. Herc had hooked up a wii to the tv and was forcing everyone to play 'Just Dance', Hunter and Cam were less than impressed. It was incredible. I watching Cam and Aaron currently dance, Aaron's arms were a blur they were moving that fast. Cam was trying.

Aaron and Cam hit a simultaneous point upwards when my pocket started to ring. No one looked at me other than Hunter, who raised an eyebrow in question. I shrugged my shoulders before pulling out the phone.

I pressed answer and held it up to my ear. "Hello?"

"Lex." Jack whispered on the other end. "The news, turn on the news."

"Okay, give me five seconds." I replied, grabbing the remote and changing the channel. Aaron let out a shout of protest and I placed a finger to my lips, ensuring I could hear Jack. Everyone's attention fell to me. "What's going on, Jack?"

"You got his attention, Lex." He responded as I flicked to the right channel. Blasted across the screen was news of a charity ball being held in London. A ball that was being deemed possible by a generous doner, a ball that was being name in honor of the same doner. Dominic's ball.

"What is this?" I muttered in disbelief.

I could hear Jack moving around, the phone being brought close to his face. "Lex, it's a call out. He wants you to come to him. To give yourself up."

I laughed, it was vicious and harsh. Hunter ran a hand through his hair as the rest remained still, their eyes glued to the screen. "He knows the club mission wasn't real." I whispered, "he knows I am not a grieving drunk mess." I was speaking to no one in particular, but everyone seemed to listen.

"But he knows it was a challenge." Hunter added, his eyes finding mine. A determination steeling his hazel eyes. "So he is responding in suit. He wants you to attend."

I nodded as Jack spoke up. "Be careful Lexa, he was holding this card close to his chest. Even Parker seems surprised by it." My body stiffened at the mention of his name. "Maybe think about not going."

Cam turned to look at me, his features softening as he realised what this was, as he realised what I was going to do. I looked away from his quickly and turned to Hunter. "This changes nothing. We're going to that ball."
