Catherine had so nicely helped me set the island in the kitchen before leaving at the end of her shift.

I actually liked that the eating area was right in the kitchen. It made everyone who would sit there feel like part of the cooking experience.

I dished up our dinner then placed the pots I'd used in the kitchen sink.

The door opened and I quickly turned my head.

Lewis walked in with Justin's luggage.

"Please leave those over there, Lewis. Thank you." Justin spoke.

My heart began to pick up its beating pace. I missed his voice-- his presence-- so much!

"Sir." Lewis said. He turned and smiled at me warmly. "Miss Banks."

"H-Hi. Lewis." I stuttered as I locked gazes with Justin.

Justin was looking really formal in his fitted navy blue suit. His black tie was still fastened, nothing out of place, even his shoes were still shining!

Lewis left the room and Justin stood at the door, not moving. He smiled at me slightly, waiting for me to say or do something.

I was feeling a lot of things at that point: angry because he had me worried for so long, sad because I'd been so worried about him, happy to see him and... Warm inside, like my world had been restored.

I took one step forward and kept my eyes on Justin.

He didn't move.

Before I knew it, I was walking fast towards him. I threw myself into his arms and buried my face in his chest as relief washed over me. He was really okay.

Justin wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on my head as he held me in place.

"It's okay, baby." He said soothingly.

I looked up at him and placed my hands on his cheeks.

Justin bent down slightly and kissed me so passionately, I was ready to explode.

"Did I get home late?" He whispered against my lips.

I kept my eyes closed and hoped he'd shut up and kiss me again.

"You're a few seconds late." I whispered. "But I'm in a good mood."

"What does that mean?" I sensed him grin so I opened my eyes.

"It means that I'm in the mood for a bath and a movie." I smiled at him.

Justin kissed me gently.

"I'm really hungry."

"Don't they serve nice food on planes?" I asked as I walked to the kitchen.

"Not really. I'm really picky when it comes to food."

I knew that.

I got some wine and some glasses and placed them on the table as Justin took off his jacket and tie and placed them on the couch before walking to the island.

"Oh, this smells amazing." Justin pulled out my chair for me and I sat down.

"Thank you. It's still warm so that's good."

Justin smiled at me as he undid the top buttons of his shirt slowly and rolled up his sleeves.

I watched him, not blinking once.

He grinned then he poured us each a glass of red wine and he took his place at the table, right in front of me.

He slowly ate his food, occasionally smiling and nodding as he enjoyed it.
