I woke up to the feeling of gentle kisses all over my face.
I slowly opened my eyes and blushed at the sight of Justin. He was fully dressed and lying right next to me.
"Wakey wakey." He smiled at me.
"Hey." I blushed a little more as I realised that my eyes probably looked horrific from all the crying I did last night.
"I got you some coffee and chocolate muffins for breakfast." Justin said.
I smiled.
It had been a while since I last had some of that goodness.
"Thank you." I said.
"No problem." He smiled.
I slowly sat up. Realising that I was still in the bathrobe, I pulled the covers up to cover me up a little more.
Justin placed a tray on my lap, from the night stand.
I smiled at the muffins as I lifted my knife to cut each one into four bite size pieces.
"Would you like one?" I asked Justin as he watched me carefully.
He smiled.
"I don't want to deprive you of your meal."
"I insist. Unless your dentist found traces of chocolate in your teeth last time." I smiled.
He chuckled.
"I actually avoided him after that."
I placed a muffin in his hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"What was that for?" He asked.
"For last night. Thanks for understanding and for being really patient with me. I had a meltdown and I'm sorry."
Justin looked at me.
"I don't think it's easy for you, the changes. But I really want you to be happy, Dileah."
"I know. I'm just... Adjusting. Over time, I'll be okay. I'll be good enough for you." I smiled.
"You don't have to try to be good enough for me, sweetheart. You're better than good enough just as you are right now."
My smile faded.
"I just don't want you to worry about me every other minute."
"I worry because I care, Dileah."
I nodded.
"Tell me, what's holding you back? Why do you have meltdowns? Why do I scare you?" He asked.
"I'm just worried." I said.
"About what?"
"You."
"You don't need to worry about me, baby. I'm okay." He smiled.
"You don't understand." I frowned.
Justin looked at me.
"You're worried that Randy will come back."
I nodded.
"I doubt he'll make it to Miami, sweetheart. And even if he did, he wouldn't be able to harm you. I promise." Justin said.
"What about you?"
"What about me? Lewis used to work in the military, Dileah. I hate guns but Lewis is a pro at handling them. He's trained also to protect, so Randy has no chance. We're both safe."
I nodded.
That put me at ease.
"Eat up. We're going to have some fun today." Justin smiled.
I looked at him.
"Fun? Where?"
"You'll see. Eat. You need to get ready."
"Ready?"
"Yes, Dileah." Justin grinned, "Something comfortable."
I couldn't help but smile at his grin as I continued eating.
I was excited to go out with him and I hoped we'd take the Ferrari again, just because it made Justin a little cocky and that was cute, to me.
I finished my breakfast then went to take a shower. I wasn't sure what to wear and, to me, the word 'comfortable' made me think of my sweats. Of course, I knew better than to wear that. Justin wouldn't approve. So, out of my closet, I got a long sleeve denim dress that had a cute brown belt. I put it on and rolled the sleeves up slightly then I put on my bracelets that I did last time I went out with Justin. I decided to slip on a pair of sandals and to wear my hair up in a bun.
By the time I was ready, Justin was in his study, talking to Lewis. The door wasn't closed and, as I stood in the corridor, I could see Justin's tension.
Maybe he was having problems at work, but why would he discuss work with Lewis?
I gently knocked on the study's door and Justin looked at me. When he did, a smile spread across his face.
"Block the number, trace it, whatever, Lewis. Just make sure this prankster stops harassing me and that you find out who it is." Justin said to Lewis, not taking his eyes off me.
"Yes, sir." Lewis said.
"I'm ready." I said to Justin.
"We're ready too, right, Lewis?" Justin said.
"Yes, sir. The car's ready. Everything is." Lewis responded.
I smiled.
Justin walked up to me and he wrapped his arms around me before kissing my forehead.
"You, Dileah, look amazing." He said.
I blushed.
"It's just a denim dress."
"Yes, but you make it look ten times more prettier than it was in the shop." He smiled.
I blushed more.
Lewis walked past us and down the stairs.
Justin used the moment to give me a kiss.
"You're not gonna tell me where we're going?" I asked.
Justin smiled and shook his head. He took my hand and together we headed out to the front of the house where Lewis was waiting with the Bentley.
No sports car today. Bummer.
Lewis opened the door of the Bentley for Justin and I then we were off, driving in the direction of the beach.
I had my head rested on Justin's shoulder and he had his arm around my waist. I gently placed my hand on his and absent-mindedly fiddled with his big gold and silver watch.
I was really curious about Justin's prankster situation but I didn't have time to ask him because we arrived at the sea. Only this time, Lewis took us where there were lots and lots of boats.
As I walked towards them with Justin, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I'd never been on a boat before.
He gently squeezed my hand.
"We going for a boat ride?" I asked him.
"Yes." He smiled, "Well, actually it's a yacht ride. My dad got this one for me when I turned 21. It's pretty much a family one cause I don't like heading out to sea alone."
I looked around, wondering which one he was talking about but it quickly caught my eyes. A beautiful, big, white boat-- yacht-- that had the words 'never say never' written in big capital letters on one side.
"Never say never." I smiled slightly.
"Never say never." Justin kissed my cheek.
