I woke up, Justin's body wrapped around mine. My face was buried in his bare chest and I loved his scent. I was well rested, I could feel it. I didn't want to move, I couldn't. Justin's arms were wrapped around me as if I were a little baby and, as safe as that made me feel, it also made me feel hot.

I slowly drifted to sleep again.

When I woke the second time, I found that Justin was watching me. A smile spread across his face and, for the first time, I realised how beautiful and at peace he looked in the morning: messy hair, soft skin, lazy hazel eyes... A smile.

I blushed and buried my face in my pillow.

I hated how I looked in the mornings. I thought it was gross. But this man, the man who I thought was sculpted by angels, was looking at me as if he were looking at a beautiful cherished possession.

"Rise and shine." He said, his voice husky.

It was a beautiful, heart quickening sound.

I smiled into my pillow then turned my head to look at him.

He smiled and pushed my hair out of the way.

"Good morning, beautiful." He said

I blushed.

"Good morning." I replied.

"You slept peacefully through the night."

"You held me so tight, I couldn't have gone to use the bathroom if I wanted to." I smiled.

"Better safe than sorry." His eyes twinkled as he held back a proud smile.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"It was no problem at all. I'd do it again every night. And I will." Justin replied.

I looked at him.

What about my room?

"How do you feel about visiting the beach today after breakfast? Just to give your day a better start. We can eat out for lunch." He smiled.

"Do I have to wear a bikini or something?"

"No. You can go fully clothed."

"Are you gonna wear something to swim in?"

"No, Dileah."

"Do you even swim in the ocean?"

"I don't swim in it. I cruise on it. Maybe if I feel happy, I jet ski on it but that's about it." He smiled.

"Cruise on it." I said.

"Yes. I have a yacht that I haven't taken out in a while, quite frankly."

"You have a lot of stuff."

Justin smiled proudly.

"I do, don't I?"

I smiled slightly as I wondered what more he had.

"So, the beach?" He asked.

I blushed and looked at him.

"If I remember properly, this is exactly how you asked me out to that Italian restaurant where I later found out it was actually a date." I said.

His lips curved into a small smile.

"Gee, Miss Banks. I specifically remember using the words 'go out with me'."

"I just thought we were going to get some Italian things to eat."

"In other words... That evening doesn't count as a date to you because I didn't ask you out properly?"
