When you get to Nessa’s you are surprised to see how different her room is than when you were little kids. You used to play together before she turned into a bully in middle school. Gone were the Barbies and pretend makeup. Replaced with a closet of clothes way cooler than you thought you could pull off and some of the most badass makeup palettes you’ve ever seen.

Nessa: *getting self conscious* “Do you think it’s too much?”
You: “No. It’s definitely not. You’re hot now, girl.”

Josh smiled as he laid on the bed, playing on his phone. He’d always hoped they would get along and he wouldn’t have to be in the middle anymore.
Josh: “Hey, Blake just texted that there’s a party tonight. We should all go.”
You: “I’m literally wearing sweats and I’d rather die than go home right now.”
Nessa: “You look like you still wear the same size as me. You can totally raid my closet.”
You: “Other than the fact that you’re 6” shorter than me.”
Nessa: *winking* “Then we’ll just go with a skirt because who cares if that is too short.”
Josh: “Hey now… that’s my sister. I don’t need her booty hanging out.”
Nessa laughed as she held up a few outfits she thought you might like. Nessa finished up your makeup and made you stand in front of the full length mirror in her room. You’d always been considered a pretty girl, but this was red hot.
You pulled out your phone to message Bryce and see if he wanted to go to the party too. You had just seen him a few hours ago, but you missed him already.
