Just like old times

The sun began to shine through the curtains. It was looking to be a really hot day. A decent rested Link walk upstairs to wake his friend. He opens the door.
"Meeting in 5!"

Dave rolled over and moaned at the thought of having to get up. He woke Rebecca and then the two headed downstairs.

The table had again been arranged for breakfast, only now there were eggs and bacon. They eat breakfast. Then afterwards, Link begins to speak.

"I woke up early this morning and I realize something. We don't have enough weapons for everyone. So today we should go on a trip for more. It was my idea so I'm going for sure. I'd like to ask ONE other person to go with me. Dave? Care to do the honor?"

"Gladly. We can leave in 20 minutes. I have to do something first. Ill be right back." Said Dave

He fled upstairs with a worried expression on his face. A rather concerned Rebecca followed him. He sat again on the corner of the bed. Looking at his Kamas with concern.

"What's wrong?" asked Rebecca.

"I got a lot on my mind. That's all."

"Like what?"

"I've never lost grip on a weapon like I did yesterday. Also, Link wants too make this trip with just me and him. I want you to lock yourself in here when I leave. And don't let anyone in. If they ask why say 'Dave's orders'. Please?"

"I suppose. Are you sure I can't come with you?"

"Sadly yes. Link told me he had to talk to me about something privately but there's nowhere to do that here. So I have to go with just him. II'm sorry. You'll be safe here. I have to go now. Be careful and lock this door as soon as I leave this room."

Dave kissed Rebecca on the forehead and walked out. When he closed the door behind him, he wait for a click to know she locked the door. After just a few moments, he heard the click and continued on his way. He heard up with his Kamas and sword cane. He again gave Link the gun and sword.

They opened the back door to avoid the street and the light nearly blinded them. They stepped outside quietly.

"So where we headed Link?"

"Let's get in your car. We're headed to the ok CaFaro residence for his stash. It's too far to walk and everything is too heavy to carry on our backs alone."

Dave nodded his head nervously. They got in Dave's car, and started it up. They were headed to raise hell at CaFaro's. Just like old times. They drove near where the building stood. Dave pulled into the neighbors driveway just in case Mike had still survived.

"If this doesn't work, we'll head to gardening store. Got it? and if things go wrong, meet me at the bridge down back. You know what bridge iI'm talking about" Said Dave.

Link nodded in agreement and they readied themselves for their next objective.
