Dave and link re-enter the house drenched in blood. They breath heavily in exhaustion. They drop their bags on the floor by the kitchen doorway.

"Dinner is served" said Link

The bag spilled out on the floor revealing about 20 cans of varying portions of a meal. Viv picked up the cans and put them on the table.

"You guys must have got drenched I. The rain earlier. Get out of those clothes and put on something dry. Don't want you two to get sick." said Viv

They both went upstairs into their rooms. In the same fashion, they both took off their jackets and hung it on the back of the chair. Both of them took off their shoes and put them next to the door, and then shut it. The similarities between the two of them was kind of odd. It's not the first time this had occurred, because they had hung out so often in the past. But now, they lived together in the same house.

They both changed into dry clothes and lay on their beds, staring at the ceiling. Soon enough they drifted off into a deep sleep, but not for long for they were to have a nightmare.

Downstairs, the children put the cans back in the cupboard as the sky slowly grew darker.

"Lights out now!!!" yelled Link's father, Tony.

"What's going on?" said Viv

"Like last time. there's a whole bunch of em. walking around." Said Tony

Everyone hit the nearest light switch and hid from the windows. As everyone else had been hiding, tony ran upstairs to turn the lights off in the rest of the rooms. He went to the room on the end and turned off the final light.

The house was silent. Nobody had dared to make a noise, or even move. About ten minutes of silence passed until Dave jumped up in a cold sweat. He let out a loud noise signifying that his horrifying nightmare had filled him with terror. This didn't seem to affect the zombies walking by. Yet continued to walk passed the yard for the most part, but one must have caught the noise Dave made, because it stopped and began to walk to the house. None of the other zombies followed behind

Soon enough the zombies would be gone and out of sight, but one remained in the yard bashing at the door.

"We have to get that to stop knocking on the door before something else hears it and joins in!" Said Viv "somebody will just have to open the door and somebody else will have to kill it"

Dave found it difficult to catch his breath. He began to wheeze and his grip grew tighter on the mattress. His struggling yell must have woke Rebecca as well, because she now sat up next to him.

"What's wrong?!" said Rebecca

Dave still struggled to breathe. It took a few extra moments for him to realize Beck had been talking to him, but when he did he struggled to talk. No words could be deciphered from his choppy and quiet voice

"inhhhhh" he attempted to speak whilst reaching for the side table by the bed.

Rebecca looked trying to see what he was struggling for. She stood up and ran over to the side table. He had been reaching for his inhaler and dropped it in his struggle. Rebecca picked up the inhaler, wiped it off, and rushed it into Dave's hands. He inhaled the medicine 3 times. He struggled for a few moments longer, an then he began to wheeze a little less every breath he took.

"It's.. not safe... we have to hurry.." said Dave still in a rush to regain his regular breathing.

"Calm down. your going to be okay" Rebecca's voice was rushed but yet meaningful. "It was just a nightmare"

'How did she know that?' Dave thought.

Downstairs, they prepared to open the door.

"Everyone stand back!" Said Viv.

Norma, Dave's mother, prepared to open the door. And Stu, Dave's father, held an axe above his head.
"3...2...1..."
The door flung open.

Caught off guard, judging by the look on his face, stu was paralyzed with fear. The zombie tackled him to the ground and began to gnaw on his collar. Stu let out a Single yell of pain, then they struggled on the ground for only moments more. Stu threw the zombie off of himself and chopped off its head while it was still on the floor. He shut the door and slumped against the wall, clearly frustrated.

He buried his hand into his palms. Was it over for him?

Upstairs Dave finally came to his sense long enough to speak. His words were choppy and his body still quivered. "So what was your nightmare about?" asked Beck

"It was my father. He got bit..." said Dave.

Just as he said that, a cry of pain could be heard from his father downstairs...
