"If you want to go back to the lower world, I have some rules. You two have to at least call us once a week, act human, and more importantly you cannot shift unless there is danger." Moms words keeps repeating in my mind, reminding me what she said.

I'm excited that Virgil and I can go back to the lower world, but I'm frustrated about the conditions.

Act human?

No shifting?

Uh, this is going to suck the life out of me!

So here I am, packing my stuff since we can stay there for awhile. Dad said we can stay at his parents house and we cannot leave his parents territory.

Of course we have to follow orders.

If not, then we might not ever go back to the lower world.

A knock made me come back to reality. Going to the door, I opened it to reveal Lucas.

He smiled, "I'm here to get your bags." I only nodded and handed him my bags that I placed beside the door. "Your parents told me to tell you it's almost time to go."

"Alright. I'll be down there in a minute or so." He nodded, then walked away with my bags.

Shutting the door, I glanced around my room.

For some reason, I felt...lonely. Like I was missing something or forgetting. It was a strange feeling.

Shrugging my shoulders, I grabbed my last bag that has my electronics, and headed out. Stepping out of my room is when my brothers door open.

Virgil smiled at me, carrying two of his bags. "You ready?" He asked as I pulled my strap over my head, nodding.

"Ya, but are you?" I asked, titling my head to the side.

He grinned, "Of course. I haven't seen our grandparents since our parents started training us."

It was true too.

"I agree as well. Well, let's get going then." I said as I walked down the hall with Virgil beside me.

I was quite shocked when Virgil and I came outside and to see our parents in normal clothes, not their armor. Also, we are going to drive to Alaska.

As soon as we arrived in Alaska, we spotted a red SUV, with Lucas holding the door open.

Mom thanked Lucas and got in while dad got in the driver seat.

I noticed our luggage was in the back which made me smile a little.

"Alright, let's do this." Dad said to cheerful for moms taste who grimaced.

Hearing the engine roar to life, I buckled up. Virgil did the same, and before we know it we were off.

Feeling someone tap my shoulder, I pulled out my earphones, and opened my tired eyes.

"We're here." Virgil said, yawning in the process.

It took us five hours, five tiring hours.

I got out of the car, wincing when my back popped. Sighing, I slammed the door shut, then turned around to see a mansion that was a cabin.

It was still the same.

"I see the place hasn't changed." Dad grinned, pulling out our stuff from the back. "I can still smell the morning dew and pine needles." Mom raised an eyebrow, but didn't question further.

Hearing a door slam open, I turned towards the house, seeing the man that I haven't seen over six years ago.

My grandpa...

Laughing, I ran over to him as he walked down the steps, meeting me halfway.

"Well, look who it is. My little tomboy?" Granpa Zach said, pulling me into a strong, but weak hug.

He aged really quick even though he's a werewolf. His once black hair is now gone white with a thick beard growing. Wrinkles growing over his tanned face

"Grandpa, I'm trying not to be one anymore." I mumbled which he laughed.

"Your trying? I guess you should give up already." I shoved him gently, smiling.

Grandpa glanced over my shoulder, grinning to ear to ear.

"Ah! Isn't it the boy who always asked me if he could play Hunt and Attack? Tiring your old grandpa out quickly." Virgil scoffed, but came over and hugged him.

Hunt and Attack is an old game where one person runs into the forest, and act as if your a weak creature. The other person has to find you, and if the person finds you. You lose, but there is a catch. The weak creature can also attack by tricking the person who is suppose to find you. And if you trick the person and attack them, the weak creature wins the game.

"Granpa, it's nice to see you again over six years." Virgil said, pulling away, smiling a little.

"Same here! I-." Granpa stopped when he saw our parents.

Grandpa snickered and walked passed us, going over to our parents whom we forgot was here.

"Hope! Light! It's been to long!" Dad laughed and bend down a little to hug his old man, patting his back before stepping away.

Grandpa turned to mom who was smiling. Granpa pulled her into a hug, laughing as she hugged him a bit tighter.

"It's been to long. Please stay for dinner before you guys leave." Mom looked hesitate, but nodded.

"I guess it won't hurt to stay for dinner." Dad said, looking at mom worriedly.

Mom looked tired or better yet, weak. She's been quiet on the trip, not a peep.

I guess you can't do nothing about that. Can you since she's always working on saving the helpless world with dad right beside her.

"Great! Shall we?"
