I knelt down, rubbing my hand across the ground feeling the vibrations around me.

"Anything?" My mate said as he stayed still, looking around us to make sure we're okay.

"Yes, some black stone crumbs and blood." I said as I shook my hands. "It's odd though, usually when a Dark World creature use this it vanishes, but it looks like someone was about to, then forgot about it."

"That is odd." I agreed and stood.

"Lately they've been coming onto this earth, but I can't seem to figure out how." I spoke as if I knew, and maybe I do. "The triples kept tight on the gate, so it must be from somewhere else, like someone is letting them in without us feeling them or seeing them."

"That damn demon must know who it is." When he mentioned that demon I growled.

"It must know." I fisted my hands, and glanced at Hope. "I have to talk to him I guess."

"NO! You will not." Hope swung his arm out and the tress beside us fell, making me flinch. "Remember what happened last time you went to make peace. When I wasn't with you! You and I know I can't go past through those gates for some reason."

I knew the reason...

"Hope, love, I have to this time, and we both know it. I'll be careful this time, I won't let him touch me again." I said as I reach for my mate, wrapping my arms around his waist. "I love you." I leaned up, and placed a kiss before stepping back. "I'll be back before the ball starts tonight. I promise."

I closed my eyes, and summoned myself to the Heavenly Chamber where I was greeted by the triples.

"Close the gate as soon as I enter." They nodded without hesitating.

As I opened the door, I heard the screeching sounds of souls clawing the door which I flung my arm out, shining my light at them

As I opened the door, I heard the screeching sounds of souls clawing the door which I flung my arm out, shining my light at them. They screamed in pain, and crawled away on their ghostly forms and vanished back into the shadows.

I let my senses come out, making me feel and smell the air around me. The air was foggy and it smells like rotten flesh which hurts my senitive nose.

"You finally showed up." I watched as Phantom showed himself, his shadow body took solid form, and showed his face, no, he has no face. His body is just a skeleton.

His body is just a skeleton

"I had too. Since your creatures keeps popping up." I said which he shrugged, his souless eyes staring at me.

"Come now, we both know they go on their own. Act on their own. Be their own being." I growled and flashed my canines at him which didn't affect him. "But, we both know that's not really why your here."

I leaned back, remembering my sin as he grinned.

"How's that boy of yours. Finally coughing up blood?" He laughed silently making me cringe.

"He is."

"Oh, how delightful! That Life Stone sure is strong. I'm guessing you must realize it's becoming stronger, and it's causing a lot of demons to come out of this world." He circled, keeping his nonexistent eyes on me. "It's oddly satisfying. Because if you think about it, this wouldn't have happened if you didn't steal the Life Stone."

Ah, yes, the day I stole the Life Stone is when I gave birth to my children. Where I had to go to this disgusting world, just to save my son.

"I'm still surprised you came here." He stated as he floated towards the shadows. "Last you were here, you literally forced your way here because this was where the Life Stone was."

"I had a reason."

"Your reason was your son, right?" I tensed up. "Are you going to tell him the true? Or are you going to watch it play just as I wait for the right moment to strike. You have to realize that soon I'll return to the lower world and take back the stone that you took from this world."

"Sorry to disappoint you, but you won't lay a hand on my children." I growled viciously, and smiled.

"Oh, I won't, but maybe someone else will for me. Oh, have a good time at the ball. If you see your dead son, tell him I said hello." I backed up towards the gate, and glared.

I still regret to this day for what I did back then. The memory of my dying son still lingers in my mind, and the Life Stone was the only thing I could think of to save him.

Ya, so, I've been busy. This chapter is pretty crappy, I know. It's short to, but I had to put it in before the ball part.

Thx.
