11. Eyes?

It's been a few days since she in touch with the masked man. Never really saw him around as well which was a bit odd. Currently, she was assigned to meet Danzo late at night to which she was in the middle of right now.

This is so sketchy. Meeting that dude in the dark foggy weather. All he does is set all these high expectations for me and then expect me to achieve them. 

"Looks like you made it right on time (y/n)" he said.

"What is it that you want? It's super late" I said yawning.

"Before we begin, you must agree on one thing, understood?" he replied. I don't like where this is going. 

"No. I know better than to agree to something without knowing the conditions" I tried sounding professional. 

"So, what am I doing here and what's the deal?" I added. The boring look on his face changed into a look of sneakiness mixed with anger as he suspiciously started walking closer to me. We were obviously pretty far away and I made sure of that just in case his little lab rats were around, which they weren't and that was even more creepy. 

"You've grown up into a tough girl. I remember how sweet and caring you were but now you're nothing like that." He chuckled starting to get closer to me.

I was backing away slowly. He wouldn't do something so bad that I would have to be in preparation to fight so then I just stayed there waiting for him to approach me.

"Whatever happens, you must remain quite about it or else you must come work for me and join the Root." he huskily said. I was getting worried now considering he just threatened me. Especially to not tell the Hokage was a big jump.

"W-why?" I gulped. 

"Those eyes." He stared right into my eyes. Deeply looking right at them.

"THEY SHOULDN'T BELONG TO YOU!" he jumped at me ready to attack. So quickly he was face to face with me within less than a second. One arm in position to grab my right eye and rip it out.

I just stood there in shock. 

Without even enough time to think a single thing, my eyes were wide open when I startled and moved back. He was on the floor with the masked man pinning him down. 

"WHAT WERE YOU GONNA DO TO HER?" said the masked man in anger.

"YOU WERE GOING TO RIP HER EYES OUT WEREN'T YOU. HOW ABOUT YOU JUST TELL HER INSTEAD OF ALWAYS TRYING TO PLAN OUT THESE STUPID SNEAKY AND CREEPY MEETUPS. AND THEN YOU CUT PEOPLE AWAY FROM HER SO THAT YOU HAVE HER RIGHT IN YOUR HANDS. HER EYES RIGHT IN YOUR HANDS." he yelled in complete anger. I flinched just by how powerful he was saying all that.

"How dare you betray me like that" Danzo said trying to get out of the masked man's grip.

"You need to leave now. Go home." he said to me as he struggled with Danzo. 

"B-but then you'll get hur-" 

"QUICKLY." I flinched again. There was no way I was going to go against what he was saying so I ran home. 

What the hell just happened!?

One second Danzo was in front of me talking about how he wants my eyes, masked man comes out of nowhere and protects me while talking about just telling me something, I'm guessing it was about my eyes. What's even so special or wrong with my eyes? They're ordinary black eyes and literally nothing special or unusual. 

However, the part that startled me the most was when his mask cracked.
