4. Memories

*Present*

I got into bed, laying down on my side with the blanket scrunched up and spread on me while looking at the window. I tried to sleep as much as I can today since tomorrow was the last day of my break which meant I had to wake up early which I hated. 

I couldn't help but think about my conversation with Itachi. Why'd he disappeared for so long? Well I mean he did explain that he joined ANBU, trained with his father, went on missions more, and I was also busy all those years getting to where I am now so maybe that's why I hadn't seen him around as often as I'd expected. Hopefully, I'll encounter him again tomorrow and talk more. 

I tried my hardest to take my mind off this but... wheres Shisui now?

I hadn't seen him since our last training session, also where I met Itachi. I got very worried about him. The childish, playful, exciting, and fun person wasn't there anymore for the longest time ever and not gonna lie it did hurt a bit. I eventually came so close to the conclusion that he was just... dead. No matter how good of a shinobi he seemed to be there was a chance even though I tried my hardest to think away from that. But thankfully I started hearing his name around

'Shisui of the body flicker'

I knew that man was cool but not as cool to have your name all over the world! I started hearing a lot about him. He was actually a pretty big threat to other villages, once they sense his chakra they sometimes even retreat back and forfeit whatever they were trying to do. 'So it seemed like his awsome kunai throwing skills finally paid off huh' I chuckled to myself thinking about every single conversation we had- 'I DIDN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO PAY HIM BACK FOR SCARING ME!' that thought immediately popped up and my eyes were now wide open. I was very competitive if you couldn't tell already.

'If Itachi is here more often at the leaf, that means Shisui will be here too!' I thought very excitedly as I finally slowly began falling asleep.

*Fall's down the stairs* "BAHAHAA YOU CLUMSY HOE" 

"Oh shut up" you said in a warning mixed with a bored tone to Haruki's comment. Today was a very special day for you... YOU WERE SPENDING TIME WITH KAKASHI! Just thinking about that made you all excited. 

Basically, you were gone to the book store to get some books this morning because you were very very bored so might as well, and while you were there you stumbled upon Kakashi also getting some books. You two had a great conversation and before you and him went your own separate paths he asked if you wanted to meet up at Ichiraku later just to talk more and stuff. Obviously you couldn't say no so you just said "yeah sure" calmly, but inside you were filled with joy!

Who wouldn't say no to a date with Kakashi!? Well, I guess it wasn't really a date because he never said it was but you two are getting food and talking... that's basically a date.

You did try your hardest to not catch feelings for that awesome shinobi known as "Konoha's copycat ninja" but it was hard. You tried to not get into liking boys right now since there were other things you had o do and accomplish, and you had a fear of the people you love leaving you ever since the incident with your family. Though Kakashi was a very charming man, he also had his own past that had interfered with his present self, like his whole team dying. Due to Rin he also avoided catching feelings for other girls and it was well known at this point, even though he didn't necessarily like Rin in the way that she liked him but it was still hard. 

Putting all those negative thoughts aside you focused on your 'date' with Kakashi. 'Okay, (Y/n), he doesn't like you and you don't like him, you just are getting food and talking. That's all' you kept repeating that in your head as you were getting ready. You tried to not look to fancy but not too lazy as well so you decided (outfit of choice). 

"Alright I'm heading out now" you yelled as you put your shoes on.

"Okay. I bet it's not a date, knowing your single self" she yelled back.

"Didn't you call me a hoe earlier?" you replied with.

"Yeah but... anyways"

"Actually I'm going out with Kakashi" You wanted her to feel jealous for once. Of course, in just a joking way, you loved that girl to death.

She popped her head out of the kitchen where she was attempting to make dango's.  Her mouth was basically on her ground in shock.

 "WAIT WHATTTTTTTTTTT" she was VERY shocked.

"YOU... WITH... KAKASHI!? THE MAN'S TOO PERFECT HOW'D YOU-" she got interrupted by (y/n).

"I thought you liked Itachi!?" You said trying to make her back off playfully. 

"And anyway, we're just getting food so it's not necessarily a date ya know" you added.

"Yeah but stillllllllllll. It's Kakashi Hatake! Being able to get food with him is like rare!" 

"True true" you finally put your shoes on.

"You should probably stick to Itachi, he isn't bad if you ask me"

"Back off my man!"

"Can't make any promises with that" You gave an evil smile as you shut the door and began walking to Ichiraku.

You didn't live that far so you reached there in just a few minutes. As you were approaching you saw his familiar face that also seemed to just reach the place.

"So your not late today huh?" 

"Nope, not today"

"Well, what a shock" you giggled as you said that while you sat down, next to each other. He looked as handsome as ever. His hair actually looked fluffier today, you've wanted to touch his hair for the longest time ever. It may sound a bit weird but it surely didn't seem like it. His hair looked so soft whenever you saw him.
