Sirius shrunk under my gaze.
"I can't believe you, Black."
"I know, I'm sorry."
We were standing in a deserted corridor, moonlight shining through the windows. Soft snow stuck to the stained glass and created a strange, dancing shadow full of little dots.
"I can't fucking believe you."
"I said I was sorry!"
"'Sorry' doesn't cut it."
"I'm really sorry, alright? I didn't mean to!"
"Like hell you didn't." My voice was still deadly calm.
His dark eyes pleaded with me. "Look, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Please, please don't tell Marlene."
I glared at him. "Marlene's my friend. You aren't anymore. You don't deserve her."
"I know, I don't," he said, looking down at his feet.
"Do you have any idea how much she likes you? She never stops talking about you! It's almost annoying."
He looked up. "Really?"
I threw him a disgusted look, crossing my arms. "You obviously don't deserve her."
"I don't. Please don't tell?"
I finally lost my cool. "YOU THINK AGREEING WITH ME IS GOING TO SOLVE THIS? YOU THINK I'LL JUST LET YOU GO? YOU CHEATED ON HER, YOU INSOLENT, CONCEITED, BIGHEADED ASSHOLE!"
He glared at me. "I didn't mean to! Okay, I didn't mean to! It was a mistake! You can't tell her, please," he moaned.
I shook my head. "It disappoints me, Black. Not only did you cheat on her, but you cheated on her with her best friend and my enemy. Mary MacDonald is a slut, Black. You should know better. Congratulations, you just ruined, let's see, one relationship and two friendships!"
He opened his mouth to protest, then closed it. I stared at him, my chest heaving, as he attempted to look everywhere but me.
Finally, he sighed and said to the floor, "What did I ruin?"
I held up three fingers. "First, your relationship with Marlene. Good luck trying to find another girl who'll shag you after everyone hears how you cheated on her."
He let out a groan and ran his fingers through his hair, which now did not look so perfect. "What else?"
"You ruined Marlene's and Mary's friendship. You think they'll be best friends now that Mary slept with her boyfriend?" I sent him my worst death stare.
He winced. "And?"
"You ruined our friendship, Black. I'm sorry, but I can't be friends with someone who cheats on his girlfriend with a slut that his friend hates."
He dipped his head. "I'm sorry."
"No, you're not."
He sighed. "No, I'm not."
"You know what, Black? I don't really care that you did it with Mary, I just care that you cheated on Marlene. And I'm sorry, but I can't be friends with a guy who cheats on my friends. I'm really disappointed, Black."
And with that, I turned on my heel and left him standing there, his face fallen.

Yes, I know, go Gryffindor and all that.
Loyalty to your friends! Loyalty to everyone!
Hey, that makes us almost royalty.
Yeesh, I'm sorry. I'm terrible at puns.
