After their food came, they started to eat their food. They ate peacefully, no one dares to talk, the situation was a little awkward, so to make it less awkward, Jake decided to break the silence.

Jake POV

It was a little awkward because we focused on our food, I decided to talk so it was less awkward. Honestly, I'm curious about her past with Jay, so I thought why not to ask her now.

Jake: Hey, umm.... Can I ask you something?

Y/N: (Looked at him) Sure, go ahead.

Jake: It might sound rude, but I'm just curious.

Y/N: About?

Jake: Umm.... It's about Jay and you. Is that okay, if I ask you about that?

Y/N: (Silent)

Jake: It's okay if you don......

Y/N: Nah, it's fine, just... just ask me everything, I'll answer it honestly.

Jake: Are you sure?? You don't have to if you feel uncomfortable about it.

Y/N: No, I'm fine.

Jake: Okay, I'm just a little bit curious about your past with Jay. You know, like how both of you met each other.

Y/N: About that... Ummm.... Let me think that first, I'm kind of forgot about it.

Jake: Sure.... Take your time, babe.

Y/N: Ba..be? (stuttered)

Jake just chuckled. After that, it became silent again before Y/N cleared her throat and started to talk.

Y/N: Actually, Jay was my neighbor when I moved to Korea. We had lived beside each other for about 3.5 years before his parents decided to move to another neighborhood. He was the one who asked me out that time. And we even went to the same school before he got transferred to another school, I guess it was the same school as yours. After he moved, we hadn't seen each other, but one day when I hung out at the mall with my so-called best friend who had left me alone, we met him. At first, I didn't recognize him, but he went to me and told me that he's Jay, I was extremely surprised because he changed a lot. I mean with a lot was, how he dressed up or talked. He seemed more mature and stylish back then. After that meeting, I started to fall for him, I even tried to find his SNS. One day, he messaged me thru direct messenger. He said could we meet up, I wanted to tell you something. So the next day, I met up with him at the park near my old house. In that park, he confessed to me. And yeah I guess that was how I ended up with him.

Jake: (nodded) Nice story, but how his parents knew that you're an orphan?

Y/N: My father was his father's colleague, they were a really good friend. But I don't know why, after my parents died his parents became so mean toward me. They thought I'm just a useless girl that just wants Jay's money. Because at that time they thought I've got poor after the death of my parents. But, Nah I'm not as poor as they thought. But I need to admit after my parents and brother died, I was so sad and didn't care about anything. But I can rise again and change myself.

Jake: That's why they told Jay to break up with you?

Y/N: Actually not only because of that, later that I know, they actually hate me. They liked my parents but not me.

Jake: Why???

Y/N: Umm.... I don't know. But a little information that I've got, in fact, Jay's parents wanted him to be with Selena.

Jake: Doesn't Selena is your cousin??

Y/N: Yeah she's my cousin. They always praised Selena, such oww she's very talented, pretty, rich, useful, and so on. They had set Jay and Selena on a date before.

Jake: How did you know?

Y/N: I saw them.

Jake: Didn't it break your heart?

Y/N: Not at all. But a week later they got together, that the time when I caught him cheated on me. I saw him kissed Selena. Right after I saw that, I broke up with him. But I didn't feel anything after I broke up with him. I don't know why.

Jake: It's because you don't truly love him.

Jake: I guess that's enough.

Y/N: Good, now let me finish my dinner. I haven't eaten my food because of you.

Jake: Hehehe.... (stretched the back of his neck) Sorry....
