Love to Meet You Again

3rd POV

It's been a week since the incident that happened between Y/N and Yuna. Jake has been staying with Y/N all the time to prevent anything bad may happen to her even though Y/N had encouraged him that she's all fine now. Jake still afraid that Yuna will come back one day and hurt Y/N. Today is a brand new day, actually Jake has planned to meet his parents tonight, he wants to introduce Y/N to his parents but this time as his boyfriend, he's still unsure if it's the right time for him to propose to her, but after he thought moreover he decided to not do it now, he thinks she still needs some time for it.

Jake POV

Currently, we're cuddling in our room. It's a lazy day like always. Y/N has been recovering, actually, she recovered pretty quick. We have nothing to do today, so I'm planning to bring her for a dinner tonight, it's a special dinner because I'll invite my parents too. My parents still have no idea about our relationship, I haven't told them yet. But I'm convinced that they will be really happy after knowing about our relationship. I can't wait to see their reaction. My mom has been wanting Y/N to be my girlfriend, she thought she's the perfect one for me besides the fact she was my childhood crush.

Jake: Babe, I want to ask you something.

Y/N: (turn to face him) What's that?

Jake: Are you busy tonight?

Y/N: (shook her head) no, I have nothing to do today, why? Is there any association we need to attend?

Jake: Actually I want to introduce you to my parents.

Y/N: Huh? Wdym?? (confused) they have known me, we have met each other before.

Jake: I mean as my girlfriend. I've not told them yet, that we're a couple now.

Y/N: So, they didn't know that we've been moving here?

Jake: They have no idea about that. That's why I want to tell them tonight.

Y/N: Sure, let's meet them. I haven't met your mom for a long time. I really miss her.

Jake: I'm sure she feels the same.

Y/N: I think I need to start preparing myself. You know, a girl needs more time to prepare.

Jake: Sure, go prepare yourself now, you still have many hours left before dinner.

Time skip to the restaurant.

Y/N POV

We've arrived at the restaurant, as usual, it's a fancy and luxurious restaurant. I wonder if they always eat in a fancy restaurant but I shouldn't have to surprise because they're rich very rich so, no wonder if they always go to a luxurious place. But that's not the point here, actually, I'm very nervous, IDK why. Even though I've seen and met them before I still have nervousness, I'm worried about how if they don't like me or they don't accept our relationship, how if they just support us as a friend. I have so many things in my head. But after Jake saw my nervousness he told me to shrug it off. Hence, I try to do that. Now, I'm here standing in front of his parents, all of my body suddenly froze.

Jake: Hey, don't be too nervous, they won't bite you. (laugh)

Mrs. Sim: What happens, Jake? Is that something hilarious from us?

Jake: There's nothing mom, but this young lady over here has been nervous to meet you guys.

Mrs & Mr. Sim: (in unison) don't be too nervous, Y/N. We've been seeing each other last time.

Y/N: Y...Yeah. (stutter)

Mrs. Sim: (giggle) You're so cute when you're nervous. Love to meet you again, Y/N. I really miss you.

Y/N: Me too, Mrs. Sim.

Mr. Sim: Btw, what's the crucial thing you want to tell us, Jake?

Jake: Actually there's a thing I've been hiding from the both of you.

Mrs. Sim: What's that? Is that about the company?

Jake: No. it's not about the company.

Mr. Sim: (confused, then look to his wife and back to Jake) So, what's that?

Jake: Actually, Y/N and I have been dating for a while and we've been moving to my new house. But I have no time to tell you that.

Mrs. Sim: Do you mean, the house that you've been dreaming of for a long time? Have you bought that?

Jake: Yes, that's exactly true. I've bought that and now I'm living there with Y/N.

Mr. Sim: I'm happy, finally you found someone that can make you happy, a girl who can take care of you. And I'm happier because the girl is no other than your childhood crush, Y/N. I'm happy for both of you. Right, honey?

Mrs. Sim: Yes... (crying)

Y/N: Don't cry, Mrs. Sim. (comfort Mrs. Sim)

Mrs. Sim: it tears of happiness and don't be too formal with me, just call me aunty or mom, cuz I believe soon you're going to be my daughter in law.

Y/N: (sigh in relief) I'm relieved now, I had been worrying too much about that, Mrs... I mean aunty and uncle wouldn't support our relationship.

Mrs. Sim: Why would we disagree with your relationship. Actually, I had been talking about you all the time.

Y/N: Huh? About me??

Mr. Sim: She was like, I wonder if Y/N likes Jake or not, I really want Y/N as my daughter in law I've imagined how we would cook or bake together in here, or should I ask Y/n to be Jake's wife cuz I can't wait for it anymore. But now I think all her imagination has come true.

Mrs. Sim: Yes. So when will the wedding party? (laugh)

We just laugh at Mrs. Sim's statement. I was so happy because they agree with our relationship and accept me the way I'm. they didn't bother with the fact I'm an orphan. I feel like I have a family again. They complete my life. I'm more than happy and grateful for my current life. Now, I've realized that my previous hard-worked and sadness, will never disappoint me in the end.
