Hitoshi knew there was no real reason why he feels afraid–absolutely fucking terrified–about going back to school. It was just going to be a normal day. The first day of school after the Sports Festival where he'll hang out with his classmates! The classmates he came out to as gay, and a trans male through text, and revealed that he and his siblings are–were–severely abused... Okay, so he has many logical reasons to be terrified. He does. He definitely fucking does... God, he is not ready for today.

Hitoshi takes a deep shaky breath, staring at his class's door with wide, horrified eyes. He releases the breath and opens the door without any more hesitation.

The rowdy class goes completely silent and makes Hitoshi pale even more. Fuck. "Uh... Hi everyone..."

"H-hi Hitoshi-kun... How–how are you?" Izuku speaks up first with a nervous smile. Hitoshi forces himself to relax and rolls his eyes with a snort.

"Debating on asking if you all did plan a couple murders or not." Izuku's nervous laugh makes Hitoshi roll his eyes again. "You're all figuring out who needs to be killed on your own. I want my plausible deniability."

Hitoshi narrows his eyes at his classmates still being silent. "...what?"

"You–you're safe... right? You and your siblings?" The green haired teenager asks for the entire class. The indigo haired teenager sighs heavily, stuffing his shaking hands into his pockets.

"Yes. I am. They are too. Hopefully for the long run," Hitoshi mutters the last part while rolling his neck.

"Shitty Deku, stop fucking bothering Dead Eyes. He's staying with Aizawa-Sensei," Katsuki snarls out, glaring straight ahead with pink ears. Hitoshi glances at him before averting his gaze with a small blush.

  "O-oh! I-I'm so s-sorry–"

"I told you not to apologise anymore. You were just worried about me and my siblings, Izuku-kun," Hitoshi interrupts the stuttering Izuku with a small smile.

The door opens and a tired Shōta walks in. "Quiet. School's started."

Hitoshi snorts and goes to his seat. He frowns slightly when he feels a familiar feeling stare follow him. He takes in a shaky breath when he remembers what this stare was.

"Stop. No one's going to look at you like that anymore. Stop it." The indigo haired teenager glances around once he sits down and feels the stare leave him. Hitoshi narrows his eyes and inspects the class. After a few moments he slowly focuses on Shōta, forcing his shoulders to relax. He's paranoid. That's it, just paranoid.

---

Hitoshi looks around the cafeteria one last time. The staring didn't stop and it was starting to freak him out. It felt just like–he can't think about that right now, but it feels just like those stares. He flinches heavily when someone touches his arm and barely stops himself from covering his face.

"Hitoshi-kun, what's wrong?" Momo's alarmed voice startles him out of his panic.

Hitoshi takes a shaky deep breath and shakes his head. "N-nothing, I'm just–I'm being paranoid. I'm fine..."
