Himari watches with bright eyes, mesmerized by the fight between Mina and Tsuyu. Mina was skating around the arena by using her acid and Tsuyu was jumping around the holes, trying to use her tongue to grab Mina and throw her out.
"Go Ashido-san! Go Tsu-chan!" Hitoshi cheers loudly, making Himari giggle.
"Weirdo!" Himari signs at her older brother. Hitoshi just smiles, ruffling her hair.
"You're the weirdo," Hitoshi retorts before focusing back on the fight. Mina was using breakdancing moves to maneuver out of Tsuyu's reach, grinning widely. Tsuyu manages to jump over the pink girl and uses her height to grab Mina's leg. Ignoring the slight stinging from the acid, she makes Mina lose her balance and flings her out of bounds. Mina shrieks in excitement, barely able to land on the ground.
"Ashido Mina of Class 1-A is thrown out of bounds! Asui Tsuyu of Class 1-A wins!" Nemuri states loudly, motioning sideways with her ninetails whip to end the fight.
"Are you alright Ashido-chan? Kero," Tsuyu asks, jumping out of bounds. Mina laughs breathily, eyes wide.
"That was fun! Both the fight and the flying through the air!" Mina exclaims, making Tsuyu smile.
"Awesome job Tsu-chan!" Hitoshi shouts. "You too Ashido-san!"
"Thank you Hito-kun!" Mina exclaims, waving rapidly up at him and the rest of Class 1-A. She brightens even more when she sees Himari.
"Mari-chan! Did I look cool?" Mina asks with a bright smile.
"Yes! You were so cool! So was Asui-san! How did you do those moves?!" Himari signs rapidly, making Hitoshi chuckle.
"She says yes. She also has questions for you, so hurry up," Hitoshi translates before Mina and Tsuyu walk back into the stadium.
"Well, my fight's next... Pray I don't die," Denki says with a shaky smile. Hitoshi gives a pat of good luck, noticing Shōto was already gone.
"Ooh. Kaminari-san doesn't stand a chance. It's going to be worse than updog," Hitoshi says, making Katsuki glare at him.
"What's fucking updog?" Katsuki asks with his normal scowl. Not even a second later, his face goes blank with regret.
"Nothing much, how 'bout you?" Hitoshi answers with a smug grin. Eijirō and Hanta burst out in chortles, making Katsuki send a small explosion their way.
"Shut the fuck up, you extras! I'll kill you!" The blonde shouts angrily. Hitoshi snorts and quickly covers his mouth to hide his laughter, shoulders shaking. Katsuki glares at him before huffing and crosses his arms.
"Fuck you," Katsuki growls, making the indigo haired teenager smirk. He leans a little closer, smirk growing wider.
"Maybe later if you really want to," Hitoshi retorts cheerfully. Almost the entire class practically screams, Mina included, while Katsuki's ears turn a burning red. Hitoshi laughs lightly, leaning back into his seat. He glances over to Momo, noticing her knowing expression.
"No," Hitoshi starts with a pointed look. Momo smiles knowingly, a warm feeling spreading across Hitoshi's face.
"It was a joke," The tall teenager attempts to defend himself. Himari pops up from the other side of Momo.
"Do you like him?" Himari asks curiously. The question makes Hitoshi blush more.
"No! He's just a classmate and-well, maybe a friend," Hitoshi signs back with a glare.
"So you do like him," The three year old girl signs, making Hitoshi sigh. Of course he immediately assumes his three year old sister knew the difference between love and like.
"The match is about to start," Hitoshi says, ruffling the excited Hayate's hair. Shōto and Denki walk out of their respective entrances, walking up to the arena. Hitoshi sends a silent prayer for Denki when he sees how pissed off Shōto looked like.
"I've never seen Todoroki-san so angry before. I hope everything is alright," Momo comments quietly, a few of her fingers lightly pressing against her mouth in worry.
"Ready..." Nemuri trails off, raising her whip. "Begin!" She throws the whip down.
-----
Holy fuck.
Hitoshi stares at the giant fucking iceberg that Shōto created in complete shock and awe. Both of his hands were holding onto Himari and Hayate instinctively and Momo's mouth was slightly open in shock.
"What the fuck..." Hitoshi speaks up, watching as the iceberg is melted away by Shōto.
"The winner is Todoroki Shōto of Class 1-A!" Nemuri says shakily, obviously freezing.
"Izuku-kun, Iida-kun. Whoever wins, good luck," Hitoshi says, making Izuku pale and nervously laugh.
"Th-thanks Hitoshi-kun," Izuku says while getting up with Tenya. They both walk out of the viewing area, towards their respective preparation rooms.
"Neither of them stand a chance," Hayate signs, Hitoshi glaring at him.
"Izuku-kun might. He has a strength enhancing Quirk... that breaks his bones... Nevermind, you're right," The indigo haired teenager signs back, sighing heavily. Hayate giggles quietly, climbing up to sit on Hitoshi's lap. Himari does the same, smiling cheekily.
"Your birthday's in two weeks. Do either of you have any suggestions?" Hitoshi asks and signs at the same time. Hayate shrugs while Himari hums quietly in thought.
"Wanna spend time with you all day!" The twins sign at the same time. Hitoshi smiles and ruffles their hair.
"I'll ask Aizawa-Sensei if you both can stay with me during the day. Of course, if he says no, you can always give him the puppy eyes," Hitoshi signs, making the twins grin at each other. He smiles softly and taps their foreheads, pointing at the fight that was about to start. Hitoshi glances up when he feels a tap on his shoulder.
A tall boy with a rock-like head, a selective mute teenager named Kōda Kōji, nervously smiles and starts signing.
"You're a really great brother," Kōji signs. Hitoshi blushes and gives a small grin.
"I try my best to be there for them," Hitoshi says with a shrug. He glances at Himari when he feels her move off her lap and watches her run over to the railing.
"What happened?" Ochako asks, watching Himari and Hayate animatedly sign at each other. The indigo haired teenager sighs heavily, feeling the familiar guilt build in his chest.
"Yate-chan got sick a couple months after he and Hima-chan were born. We couldn't afford to go to the hospital. Luckily, Yate-chan got better, but his hearing slowly deteriorated until last year. He can barely hear anything anymore, but hopefully when I become a Pro Hero, I'll be able to pay for treatments for him," Hitoshi starts with a small smile. The smile disappears when he focuses on the excited Himari.
"Hima-chan is a selective mute... and it was–" Hitoshi cuts himself off, a small frown on his face.
"There was a traumatic incident and–well–" Hitoshi shrugs, not wanting to go into the details. That day will haunt him forever and he doesn't know how Himari had forgiven him so quickly.

Hey! Hope you like the new chapter! I'm sort of horrible with writing fight scenes, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. Bye!
