Warnings for this chapter: Panic attack in the beginning.

-----

Hitoshi, while he has many people in his contacts, doesn't get many texts. So, he doesn't check his phone often and frequently forgets to turn on his sound. With having so many friends now, he's been thinking of breaking that habit, especially after USJ.

On a rare stroke of luck, Hitoshi checked his phone and saw a text from Momo. When he opened it up, he didn't realize how terrified he probably looked until Nemuri had gently placed a hand on his arm.

He flinched away so hard, he almost fell off the couch. His heart was in his throat and his breaths came out erratically.

Hitoshi couldn't breathe. Why couldn't he breathe? Momo's getting attacked because of him. He shouldn't have let her allow him to stay. It's his fault. His mom won't stop sending people until he's punished.

"–toshi. Hitoshi. Look at me," Shōta enters his gaze, gripping his hands tightly. "You need to breathe. Follow my breaths." He placed Hitoshi's hands on his chest and took deep, slow breaths. Hitoshi tries to follow the underground hero, trying to calm down.

He couldn't calm down. He tried really hard, but he couldn't. Momo was probably injured right now because of him. Oh my God, she might be dead. No, no, no, no. She's strong. She's–

"Hitoshi." A hand gently runs through his hair, bringing him back to reality. He instinctively pushes his head into the hand, the world spinning around him like a spinning top.

"Hitoshi, what's wrong? Can you tell me what's wrong?" The black haired man asks softly. Hitoshi stares at his homeroom teacher through incredibly blurry vision–was he crying?–and nods his head.

He opens his mouth, but no sound comes out for a few moments. "M-Momo–she's–I–"

Hitoshi tries to take another deep breath, trying to push through his stuttering. "Danger, she–Mama sent–Momo's in danger. I–I–it's my–it's–"

"Shh. Sweetie, just take deep breaths and calm yourself down. Shōta and Hizashi will handle it," Nemuri says softly as she continues to run her hand through Hitoshi's hair.

  "B-but–but Momo, she–it's my–my fault. I–I'm sorry. I should've–I should've–"

"Shh, Hitoshi-chan... Look at me, sweetheart. You have nothing to apologise for. This isn't your fault," The woman says softly while she gently pulls Hitoshi towards her. Hitoshi makes a small amount of progress in trying to take in deep breaths.

"We're heroes, Hitoshi. We'll protect you all. No matter what," Nemuri says softly before she discreetly activates her Quirk. Hitoshi, in his panicked state, is quick to fall under the influence of her Quirk and falls asleep.

Nemuri continues running her hand through the teenager's hair.

-----

Momo pants heavily with wide–probably crazed looking–eyes. She stood over the knocked out and injured masked man with a cast iron pan in her hands. Blood leaked slowly from her side and down her face, but she didn't seem to care.

"Oh, thank God," Momo sighs in relief when the masked man doesn't get up. Though, she did slam the pan across his head four times.

"Yaoyorozu-sama?" An unfamiliar voice calls out and is followed by multiple footsteps.

Momo sighs in relief when she sees Ayane leading heroes and police officers over. "Ayane-san. I thought he had done something to you. Are you alright? Where are the others?"

Ayane steps over the knocked out man and immediately checks Momo for injuries. She almost tackles the black haired teenager to the ground when she saw a few grazings in her side and a deep gash across the left side of her head.

"Ayane–Ayane-san!" Momo stumbles to her knees and gives the woman a small glare. "I'm fine!"

"You got shot at! And what about this gash on your head?!" Ayane exclaims, pressing her apron on Momo's head. Momo pouts slightly, but doesn't move away.

"Where are the others? Are they alright?" Momo asks again. She ignores the glare Ayane gives her.

"They're fine, Yaoyorozu-sama. Worry about yourself. Where is Shinsō-kun?" The maid scolds lightly.

Momo frowns slightly at the reminder of why the masked man was here. "He's staying at someone else's house since Mother is home. Ayane-san, I need to call Aizawa-Sensei."

"You'll have to wait until the paramedics get here. I don't care how minor your injuries are, you will be going to the hospital to get checked out."

Ayane gives Momo a glare, quickly shutting her up before she could protest. "Don't you dare." Momo didn't pout–but she pouted while wisely not arguing with Ayane.

"Y-you fuckin' bitch..." The masked man growls out, slowly coming two. Momo immediately pulls Ayane behind her, glaring down at the man. The heroes quickly restrain him in case he attacks again and place the Quirk restraining cuffs on him.

"Since you're awake, you're lucky enough to walk to your nice comfy spot in the back of a police car. Reserved just for you," One of the heroes–one that Momo doesn't recognize–says cheekily before forcing the probably concussed man to stand. The black haired teenager relaxes when the man is forced out of the mansion, away from her and Ayane.

"The police and other heroes are making a sweep, in case of any other intruders. Would you like for someone to accompany you to the hospital?" Another hero asks kindly.

Momo smiles politely and shakes her head. "There is no need, sir. My mother should be already notified and will have one of the security guards accompany me. Thank you for the offer."

"Yaoyorozu-san, do you know why the masked man attacked you?" An ordinary looking detective questions, making the wealthy girl scowl slightly before nodding.

"He was after one of my classmates, Shinsō Hitoshi. He wanted to bring him back to his mother for, what I am pretty sure of, a beating. When I refused to tell him where Hitoshi-kun is, he then continued to attack me. He wanted to send a message to Hitoshi-kun," Momo answers, trying to keep her anger from showing. She takes a deep breath to calm herself.

"That bastard! I am glad you used what I taught you, Yaoyorozu-sama, or I would've used my own pan on him," Ayane says angrily, glaring at the direction the man was taken to. Momo giggles softly with a small blush from the praise.

"Just like my birthday, yes?" Momo mentions the last time Ayane had used her infamous cast iron pan attacks on someone.

Ayane straightens up in price with a smirk. "Of course! Possibly even worse. I've taken a liking towards Shinsō-sama."

-----

Hey! Hope you like the new chapter. A cast iron pan is the best weapon and no one can say otherwise. That'll knock a bitch out with one hit.

Hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Bye.
