Louis' P.O.V.

Two hands gripped my shoulder, shaking me awake.

I grumbled a string of incoherent words before huffing when the shaking didn't stop.

"Alright, alright, I'm up," I said, moving my hands from where they were wrapped around Harry's warm chest to rub at my eyes.

I gently slipped out from under Harry's embrace, careful not to wake him, and was met with Liam's face as I sat up.

"Hey, Lima," I yawned.

"Hey, Lou," Liam smiled. He had a nervous look in his eyes and I could tell he wanted to say something more.

"What is it, Li?" I asked, standing up from the sofa and moving towards the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I could really use one after my stressful day.

"What?" Liam asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he stood across from me, leaning on the counter. I noticed he was speaking quietly and realized the other three boys were all asleep.

"You obviously woke me up to tell me something, or else I'd still be napping peacefully with the other three," I pointed out, grabbing my freshly made cup of tea and jumping up to sit on the counter.

"Okay," Liam sighed. "I swear I have no idea what it's about, but Simon called a few minutes ago and told us to be at his office in an hour."

"Okay," I shrugged. "Help me wake up the others?"

"No, no. See- just us. He said only us two," Liam stuttered. I didn't understand why he sounded so distressed.

"Oh, okay," I said slowly, trying to understand the meaning behind it. It was odd that we had two meetings scheduled in one day. "Why are you so worried?" I took a sip of tea and closed my eyes as the warm liquid slid down the back of my throat.

"Just- I mean... After the meeting earlier... I don't know, Lou," he took a deep breath. I gave him a small smile to encourage him.

"All you did was tweet one sentence. One bloody sentence congratulating a close friend on having the guts to publicly come out, and it caused Simon to turn into something awful. I mean, has he always been like this? Have we just never noticed? I just don't want him screaming at you just because of something so bloody stupid," Liam finished, running his hands through his hair.

"Aw, Liam," I smiled brightly at him, hopping off the counter and pulling him into a tight hug.

"I'll be okay, I promise," I assured him, squeezing him tightly as he squeezed back, trying to push away the thoughts from earlier with Harry. "Nothing I can't handle," I joked.

"Trust me, I know," Liam chuckled, pulling away with a smile on his face. I turned around to grab my tea and almost spilled it everywhere when I felt large hands settle on my hips.

After a few seconds, I recognized the familiar touch as Harry's and leaned back instinctively, feeling the warmth radiating off of him.

"Shit, Haz, you nearly gave me a heart attack," I teased, carefully setting my tea down and turning around in his arms. I was met with the most adorable sight of Harry's hair sleep mussed and his eyes drooping a bit, and I tried not to coo.

"You would've noticed me if you hadn't been so invested in your damn tea," Harry grinned, tracing small circles on my hips with the pads of his fingers.

I pouted up at him before taking a small step closer and burying my face in his chest. His arms moved to wrap around me and as we stayed there for a minute. It should have been weird, but it wasn't. It was normal. It was just us.
