Chapter 1.

        Hotch rolls out of bed at 6 am. He hops into the shower, brushes his teeth, gets ready, and heads out the door. He has not heard anything about a case so far so he assumes that him along with his team will be on desk/ paperwork duty. He gets to the BAU and heads in, obviously he is the first there but shortly after Rossi rolls in, they greet each other and head to work. After about a good half hour the rest of the team is there and joking around as they always do.

"Em you look exhausted, a spicy date last night?" Derek elbows her causing her to push him away and laugh. "Aha, so funny my sleep schedule is shit. And it does not help having these two blow my phone up with drama!" She looks at JJ and Garcia. "Hey! its never boring though" JJ speaks up following Garcia budding in. "Plus you LOVE talking to us!" Emily laughs and smiles. "Oh you know I do of course!"

From Hotch's office window he looks down at his team, more so at Emily. He watches as she smiles and laugh, he's not able to hold back a smile. She looks up out of habit and really just wanting to spend time with him. He sees this and gives a small nod before sitting back down in his chair. As he does so he hears a knock on his door and its Strauss. Strauss has no idea about their feelings towards each other so when a case breaks out and she needs them to go undercover she thinks that they have a close work relationship and would be able to get the job done.

"It's open." Hotch says and keeps a focused face on his paperwork. "Aaron, I am going to need you to get Agent Prentiss up here asap, Its a case I need to talk to both of you about." He sits up straight and looks at Strauss. "Yes Ma'am, one moment." He stands up and walks to the door and gets every ones attention without meaning to.  "Prentiss, Strauss and I need you in my office.. now please." The team gives her concerning looks as if saying 'What have you done?' and in her response she just shrugs her shoulders. She walks up and takes a seat, Strauss stands and Hotch sits back down in his chair. "You're in no trouble if that is what you're worried about, I need you and Aaron to go undercover as a married couple, this will be a lot to take in, but we have to act fast so if you're not up for the job say so now so we can get someone else.." Strauss explains, she gives Emily a second. "Um.. Yes I mean I can do this ma'am".  "Good the Unsub is killing married couples, couples that are not rich but also not struggling to hard financially. For this case you will get a small house, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, a living area along with a small kitchen. You guys will have to be seen in public, holding hands, kissing, etc. You don't have to act on this AS much when you're alone in your temporary home but in case the Unsub looks through windows you will need to stay a bit affectionate. Is this understood? And are you both still willing?" She finally stops talking. Emily and Hotch give each other a look as of they were silently agreeing to the terms and Hotch looks over at Strauss. "Yes and when will we need to leave?" He asks. "In about an hour the Jet will be here you'll have a rental car as you get there and inside will be directions in the GPS to your home." She explains, "If you have any more questions let me know otherwise you guys can get ready to go" Emily stands up. "Thank you."

Strauss leaves and Emily goes to follow but Hotch stops her. "Hey, could you stay for a minute Prentiss." She turns around. "Of course, whatcha need?" She sits back down and he looks back down at his paperwork. "Are you positive you will be okay with this? I mean it's a lot to process." He asks worried obviously that after he's kissed her and held her that he wont be able to move on and it will make him make decisions that will affect their friendship. Emily looks at him, worried about that and also that she may want more that he would defiantly not want. "Yes.. I'm ready for it, as long as you're comfortable." He looks up at her. "Ok then ill see you in about an hour.." "Yes sir~" Emily stands up and walks out not realizing that when she calls him that it makes him feel a certain type of way and as she walks out he cant help but to watch her go. He has many people call him "Sir" out of respect of his position on the team and in the BAU but it's different for him when she says it, he doesn't want to be for work.

After an hour and both have made trips home to pack a night bag of clothes and other things they will need they show back up, they meet back up as they get onto the jet. Emily explained the case and that they would be undercover as they worked it from home to the team after they were worried about her she didn't want to leave them that way. She enters the jet and sits down next to hotch in the seats. "You ready for this lover?" She elbows him causing him to let out a small smile, just enough to show his dimples. "Yes I am, I know we still have to focus on work but it gives us a small vacation don't you think?" He looks over at her as she looks back at him. "Yeah I know what you mean, no paperwork until we get home and just me and you for a while. Sounds like a perfect break to me, other than the us being in danger part." Emily giggles and lays her head on his shoulder. "Of course, hey Em?" He says as she looks up into his eyes. "Yeah Hotch?" He looks at her worried for a moment. "Just thank you for being here, I think if I had to do this with anyone else it would be to awkward.." She smiles sleepily. "Same here, thanks Hotch.." She closes her eyes. "You get some rest I'll wake you when we've landed."
