Chapter 7.

Emily's Pov:

*flashback*

"I love you" I whispered and I couldn't tell how he was feeling but then he said it back. "I love you more than you could ever know Em.." I look at him with tears in my eyes. "But we both need some time.. this love won't go away, can you wait for me?" I ask and he nods his head. "Of course I will always wait for you.." He says upset, he kisses me one last time. It was long and passionate. Then he walked me to my car and I went home.

*back to the present*

I finally get to work, it's been a long weekend and I didn't get to see Hotch at all the whole weekend. I missed him a lot. I hope he missed me.

As soon as I get in Garcia comes out with a case. "Already?" I ask and she nods her head. "And unlike us my pretties, this case is not pretty at all.." She says to all of us and we all head to the briefing room.

Hotch is already at the round table and he looks up at me with those handsome eye. I look at him and he pulls out the chair for me to sit by him so I sit down. "What do we have Garcia?" He says and looks up at the board as the rest of us do as well. "4 women in the past 3 weeks have went missing. Now the kick is, 2 of them have shown up in public parks.. where people take their children... two different parks but the women.. well they were almost twins! They both had straight A's both majoring in teaching at nice colleges, both of them were mothers, you get the gist" As she is explaining the case I feel a hand on my thigh. It's Hotch. I'm pretty sure it was more of an "I miss you" touch but it surprised me and I looked over at him quickly and he gives me a half smile. She pulls up pictures of the girls and they were both blonde both had green eyes. "And not to mention they look almost identical, he definitely has a type." Morgan says. "Is there any report of sexual assault?" JJ asks. "No, but cause of death was overdose, on regular drugs you can get at Walgreens, CVS, any drug store really." She explains. "And there is still a woman out there who is still missing. Wheels up in 20." Hotch says and gets up, I sigh at the loss of his touch and get up, I go grab my go back and I get to the SUV's early so I can ride with Hotch.

I get in next to him after putting my bags in the trunk. No one is with us yet because they still have about 15 minutes. "I missed you.." He says and I look up realizing he's staring out me. "I missed you too.." I look at him needily. "Did you have a good weekend at least?" I ask hoping he wasn't just upset all weekend like I was. "Yeah, since we didn't have a case I got to be with Jack all weekend, I took him out for ice cream and to see the dinosaurs!" He said with a smile and I couldn't help but smile at him as he talked about his son. "That's great!" I say happy for him. "Except one thing.." He says back with a frown. "W-what is it?" I asked of course. "Jack, he was, well he was asking to come see you, a lot, I had to explain to him that you were not feeling good and we'd have to get together another time.." He says looking out his window. I look over at him. I just want to kiss him. "Aaron.." He looks over. "Yeah?" The back door opens. Rossi gets in. "The others are riding with Morgan." I look back at him. "Uh never mind I'll talk to you later Hotch" I say quickly. "Rossi, I can sit in back if you want front" He just shakes his head. "Im ok, thank you though" Hotch just looks out the window as he turns the car on and starts driving. "You can tell me Em, Rossi knows about what happened.. I talk to him more than people would think" Hotch says without looking at me. "Yeah and I wish you two would just figure this out because it's making it very awkward in here" Rossi says and they chuckle, I smile back at him. "Ok, well then I'll just start by saying that I missed you crazy this weekend.. and I of course missed Jack as well and I'm sorry that you had to lie to him.." I say. I am very upset I just want to kiss him and make him happy and be there for him and Jack.

Hotch's Pov:
When she says this my heart breaks. I just want to tell her that this is crazy to wait for. "Emily. This is stupid. Why are we waiting." I can tell that she is thinking about what to say. "Because we are scared.." She says as she looks over at me. "Why should that hold you back, yes, it's true we have lost people close to us just because we were close, but, we also learned that we have to love the people we love while we have them.." Rossi says from the backseat, and I smile slightly at his words. "He's right.." I say with a smile. "I know... Aaron.." She asks and looks at me. "Yes beautiful?" I ask not looking away from the road. "I don't want to wait anymore, when we get to the hotel.. I'd like to talk more about what we are.." I look at her with a smile before looking back at the road and pulling into the police station. "I would love that" I hear Rossi clear his throat from the backseat. "I don't need to hear about you guys 'talking' in the hotel." We all laugh and head into the precinct.

"Hello, I'm Arron Hotchner with the FBI, and this is my team." I shake the older gentleman's hand.

After greetings and everything I explain where I want everyone. "Prentiss go with Morgan to the Morgue" I always put her with Derek because I know that he is like a brother to her and will do anything to protect her. "JJ and Reid you can stay here. Me and Rossi will head to the crime scene. And everyone." I look at Prentiss to see her looking at me but not at my face. Hmm I know what her mind is up to. "Get to work. I need everyone's head in the case" She blushes and looks away as she realizes I'm talking to her, I give her a smirk. She knows I want what she does.
