We got to the house and I pulled into the drive way of my house. It wasn't too late, but it looked as if everyone was asleep. My parents knew I was going on a date but I didn't expect them to know I'd bring her over after. I pulled out my phone and texted Haley to see if she was asleep.
She texted back that she wasn't. I asked her to open the door for me and nix. She was shocked but agreed. We got out the car and I helped carry some of the bags. Nix followed behind me with a bag in her hands, I got to the door to see Haley peak her head from the window to se us. She came over to the door and unlocked it slowly making Phoenix giggle.
Haley opened the door letting me and Phoenix in. She closed the door slowly and turned on a lamp close to her.
"Hey guys how was the date?" Haley smirked as Phoenix giggled. "It went good, he's such a sweet heart" She said looking at me as I smiled down at her.
"Oh really? Jaden is the total opposite-"
"Haley, don't expose me!" I said looking at her as they laughed lightly.
"Oh mom is just here, dad is out with his friends tonight" Haley said as I nodded.
Before I could say anything else the lights went on.
We all looked to the big door area to see my mom that turned on the lights with her arms crossed.
"So you thought you were slick.." she said walking over to us noticing Phoenix.
"Hi! I'm amy Jadens mom, I believe we met before..?" She said to Phoenix as Phoenix smiled and nodded. "W-what?" I said pointing between both of them.
"Yea I went over to her house to say hello and welcome to the neighborhood a few days after they moved in." My mom smiled sweetly as she looked between me and Phoenix.
"What are you guys doing here!?" She asked.
"Well we just came from target, we got snacks for a sleepover we planned..?" I said to her as if it was a questionable ask.
"Oh that's fun! Okay well go have fun!! We'll see you guys in the morning!" My mom waved to us as Haley looked shocked looking at the woman in front of her.
"Thanks mom, Goodnight guys" I said grabbing Phoenix's hand and walking up the stairs.
"Goodnight!" Phoenix said before we got to the top of the stairs. "Sorry about that.." I sighed at the girl and reached my room.
"Don't be sorry your mom is so nice!" Phoenix said as a smile formed on my face as I closed the door slowly.
I turned around and placed the bags on top of my desk and turned to see Phoenix sitting on my bed.
"Well let's get this party started!" I cheered as she laughed and I did too.
"Oh, Jaden I don't have any clothes to sleep in.." she said as I nodded.
"I can ask my sisters to see if they have anything for you..?" I asked as she grinned. "Do you think she'd mind?" She asked a little cautious, looking down at her hands.
"No! It's fine I'll go ask" I said smiling at the girl as she looked up to me and smelled as well.
I opened the door closing it slowly and walking down the hall to Haley's room.
I knocked a little and waited at the door as I hear shuffling in the room. The door swung open to see Haley in a ponytail and her tv playing.
"Hey what's wrong?" She asked opening the door open a little more.
"Hey,sorry but do you have any clothes Phoenix could borrow to wear tonight..? She doesn't have anything.." I said as Haley's face lightened with a grin.
