Mostly Normal day at school, I was currently at lunch with Nessa walking to her table. I didn't see Kevin today which kind of bummed me out.
"So, how's mr Kevin? Nice? Mean? Flirty?" Nessa asked as we went to her table.
"Um he wasn't here today but he's been, nice and a little flirty.." I said as he mouth hung open.
"He totally likes you, but don't fall for it.. It's a trick." She said sitting down as she opened her water.
"No i don't think so.. he was just nice that's all. He did complement my drawing.." I said.
"You like to draw?" She asked changing the subject.
"Yea look" I said pulling out my sketches as she opened the book.
"Oh crap, your like artist girl huh?" She said as I shrugged.
"Look josh!" She said flipping through the pages.
"You did this?" He asked looking very interested.
"Yea..?" I asked as if i was asking a question. "Damn." He said with widen eyes.
"Let me see" Anthony took the book out of Josh's hands.
"Oh shit, you Picasso?" He asked as I chuckled. "No I'm Phoenix" I said in a duh ton as he laughed.
"Let me see" a guy that had flat down floppy hair? Nah i don't know you cant really tell. "Oh-" he said looking at the picture I drew of my little sister.
"That's you?" He asked as dancing boy grabbed the notebook.
"No it's my little sister. She's 4" I said as Jadens eyes widen.
"Holy crap" he said as he and another kid looked at a picture of a Phoenix. No not me but the bird Phoenix.

"Where did you lean to draw?" Jaden asked as I widen my eyes. Fuck "Nix?" Nessa asked me as I looked like I've seen a ghost.
"I-uh" I said swallowing my saliva. The bell rang making everyone get up and throw away their trash. "Hey.. you okay?" Jaden came up to me as I nodded hesitatingly.
"You know You can trust me." He said as Nessa walked away with josh to their next class.
"Um-" i said before he cut me off.
"Come with me" he grabbed my hand and took me the opposite way of my class. "Have you skipped school before?" He asked me as I nodded slowly with him hand in mine.
"Good" he said as we left the parking lot. I kept walking even though I was in my thoughts about earlier. I felt when Jaden squeezed my hand making me look up.
"What are we-" I said being shushed by Jaden. "We're skipping school" he said plainly.
"Why-" "Because something is bothering you, so let's get your mind off of it." He said still with my hand in his.
