After this morning, Jaden went home because I was going to my aunts with my dad and sister. I had just gotten in the car with my dad after he picked me up for coming from work with Clara.
"So, you didn't tell me how the party was last night! Talk to me about it I wanna know!" My dad said as we pulled out of our drive way.
I chuckled at how my dad acts some ways but it's the highlight of my day.
"It was good, me and Nessa dressed up as an angel and Devil.. I had a good time." I said as he smiled.
"That's good! Anything else..?" He said.
"Uh.. no not really I hung out with more people..?"
"Jaden?" He questioned with a grin as I smiled a little looking down knowing my dad is going to get all aw and cute.
"Mhm" I said as he laughed.
"Oh hunny that's good! I'm glad you and Jaden are getting along! You guys look so cute together." He said supportively.
"Really..?" I said lifting my head to look up at my dad. "Yea! I really like him, he's good for you" he smiled as I nodded.
"Just be careful.. not like last time. We don't need someone like Brandon." My dad said as he looked upset.
When we were in New York I was dating Brandon. He used me for a lot of.. things. Mostly sex money and he'd threaten my family if I didn't get what he wanted. Usual he'd make me go out while I had to take care of Clara to get drugs and alcohol for him around really late times. Plus I was young so it was hard to get anything without be asked for a license. It was hell with him, but I loved him he'd treat me good sometimes when he got his way. Now that I think of it he never really cared for me the way Jaden did. Thank god I ended it with him leaving New York. On the last day before he left I said I couldn't do long distance and told him I don't love or like him anymore. Of course he got mad and almost cut me with glass by throwing things around in his apartment. Thankfully he left and I got my stuff and ran the hell out of there. I've never see Him since and always make sure to watch my back. He did say "you'll see me one day, and you'll regret leaving me" I quote. It was so scary that I couldn't move for a good 30 minutes. I told my dad about everything as he was the only one there for me. He was dealing with a hard time with my step mom in the hospital. Unfortunately she passed a week later and my dad was so upset. So was I, I was close to her and Clara would call her mommy more than her actually mother in which I didn't mind. I thought she'd help me change from my past but she went too soon..
Soon we moved here for better so that we can start over, it's been good so far. My dad enjoyes his job here more than in New York so I'm happy that he's happy.
"I promise he's not like him. He's different and treats me good." I said as my dad nodded and turned on a few more streets until we hit my aunts house.
He stopped the car and I got out as he got my sister from the back out. I brought my bag on my back and walked up to the house as my dad did too.
I rang the doorbell and stood there until I heard the door jiggle a little. The door opened to the brown haired woman that had blue eyes and a nice smile. She looked to be doing something as she had her hair up in a bun and a shirt that was dirty with something on it. "Phoenix what a surprise! It's good to see you!" The woman said taking me into a hug.
"Hi auntie Noel" I smiled hugging her as she smiled and hugged tight.
"I hadn't seen you in 2 years!" What happened? Tell me everything!" She smiled bring me inside hugging Clara and my dad.
"Phoenix I'll be back soon, I have to go to work. I'll pick you guys up later" my dad smiled as I nodded and hugged him. "Bye dad see you later" I said as he smiled and hugged back.
"See you later nix, take care of your sister. Don't let Noel feed her chocolate." My dad said pointing to his sister as she laughed and flipped him off.
"Okay byeee" she said closing the door on my dad as I laughed.
"Come on him tell me everything! I made your favorite, pasta" she said as I ouued and followed her Into the kitchen with the toddler.
TIME SKIP
"And then Jaden fought with him in the rain" I said as my aunt was so invested into the drama.
"Oh shit!" She said feeding my sister as she listened to me talk.
"Yea and then nothing else.. really.." I said as she frowned. "Really? What do you mean by really..?"
"Uh nothing" I said trying to hid the fact of what happened on Halloween.
"Tell me hun! You know im no snitch to your dad" she shrugged as I sighed.
"Okay don't tell him.. but Jaden asked me to be his girlfriend yesterday night and I said yes and now.. I have a boyfriend" I giggled nervously.
"WHAT! no way!" What happened to Brandon!? I remember going to New York and you introduced me to him. He seemed off tho." She said as I rolled my eyes.
"Oh yea long story short I broke up with him because he used me for things and I didn't like it.." I said as she gasped.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" She said as I weakly smiled at her. "It's fine, I kinda saw that he didn't care so I Just said I my was over the day he left New York for good." I said as she nodded.
My phone went off with a buzz, my aunt that was by my phone picked it up my phone to a phone call that she thought was hers. She smirked as she passed me the phone. "What..?" I said looking down at the phone to see Jaden calling me. I smiled down at the phone as I looked up at her. "Go answer it dumb ass" She shoed me away. Laughing I got up and went into the living room and opened the call.

"Hello?" I said into the call.
"Hey beauty" the voice of the male said as a smile grew to my face.
"Hi lover boy" I laughed as he chuckled.
"What time are you going home?" He said into the phone as there was the sound of rustling in the background.
"Uh I don't know maybe in an hour or two or so I don't know.." I said as he hummed an okay it the phone.
"What are you doing?" He said as the sound of walking around filled the phone.
"Nothing really. I was eating dinner and talking with my aunt." I said as I could imagine him smiling through the phone.
"Did I disturbe your dinner.?" He asked as I could hear voices on the other side of the phone laughing and talking.
"Oh no it's okay.. what are you doing?" I asked him as he stopped what he was doing by the no sound of the phone. All I could hear is very faint whispers. A second later the sound came back to hear Jadens voice.
"Oh uh nothing just at home, with.. family" he said softly the sound of him walking away from the noise that sounded like people.
"Oh okay, we'll go be with your family! I'll see you later. We could watch movies when I get back." I said as he chuckled.
"Of course, okay I'll see you later" he said.
"Bye" I said smiling.
"Bye beautiful" he said before I heard to sound of him kiss the phone making me giggle. I hung up the phone and placed it in my pocket and went back into the kitchen.
