Next day
The girl walked through the halls of the school as the shorter girl walked beside her to their first class.
They entered the room just on time as Jaden had gotten to school earlier than the girl for morning detention as he usual was late in the mornings.
She went to her seat as the boy went over to the girl as she smiled at him. He placed his hand on her thigh and squeezed it pecking her head.
"Morning my beautiful, how'd you sleep?" He questioned the girl as she shrugged.
"I'd like it if you were cuddling me last night" she smiled as he looked down at her chuckling.
"Hey nix!" Nessa said as the girls attention was brought to the girl that sat next to her. "I have huge news." She said as nix ouued and turned to the girl.
"So josh is sitting with us at lunch again. Plus we might be starting on our relationship a little again.." she said as Phoenix gasped and cheered. "Yes! I'm happy your doing it! You and josh are amazing together. You got a keeper, plus at least he'd take a hit for you especially even if someone did have your nudes.." the girl as making them laugh.
The bell rung and Mr. Letendre walked in the room. The morning went smoothly as there was a small little Project they did in class having Nessa to be her partner..
As the class split up she noticed Jaden had a partner, Cassie. They were talking and laughing as she put her hand om top of his. He didnt remove it as Cassie smiled at him.
She hitched her breath which caught Nessa's attention looking at her.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
The girl quickly looked back at the girl as she shook her head, "i-I just have to use the bathroom, m-my period.." she said getting up trying to not look in anyone's direction.
"Phoenix-"
"May I use the bathroom. Please?" The girl said to the teacher as everyone looked over to the girl. The room getting silent slowly.
"Is it an emergency?" He asked.
"Yes, now please" she said as he sighed and nodded.
She quickly exited the room getting a few glances and whispers as she took a glance at Cassie and Jaden. The girl smirking knowing what she had did as Jaden looked concerned.
She left the room and went into the bathroom as she closed a stall in the bathroom and sat on the toilet. She sat for a few seconds thinking wether or not she should do something. Being with Jaden made her weak at some points, as he as the one to always protect and help her. But now she didn't know what to say or how to stand up to her without a back up. Of course Nessa would be she felt the need to do it herself.
The girl felt upset as the boy always told her to not worry about her or that he only had eyes for her. On top of that she knows Cassie as the perfect girl. A thin stomach and hourglass shape as her body was beyond beautiful. Plus Cassie is the ideal girl for any man. She could easily look at a boy and he'd be in love. She might be a real bitch, but she can be so manipulative. A single smile can wash away all the harm she's caused. Yet, the green eyed girl wasn't falling for their tricks. Phoenix saw the real girl that no one saw. A controversial, controlling, bitch of a girl.
The girl wiped her eye as she got out the stall and decided she wasn't going to have that shit.
She looked herself in the mirror and smiled to herself and felt herself come together. She felt strong as she wanted to go back to the room and slap the girl, yet too far.
She walked back to the room and walked in there like nothing happened. Walking pass Jaden and Cassie talking as she didn't dare to look at Jaden. The boy was confused as his girl, how she wouldn't give him a single smile. Upset but continued to work with Cassie as she was a constant flirt.
"Hey you okay?" Nessa asked the girl as she smiled and nodded. She sat up straight and began to do the work with Nessa as she tried to show she didn't care. The boy gave her a few stares as she didn't want to look at him. Soon him getting frustrated as the girl denied to look over.
TIME SKIP
The girl walked out the class with Nessa as they laughed at a joke she made. Nessa separated as she went on to her next class with josh. She smiled as they walked away hand in hand. She was very happy and proud of Nessa for talking the risk and chance again. She always wants her best friends happy and finally feels good she found her happiness once again.
"Hey Phoenix!" A guy said behind they girl as she turned to be faced with a kid she's seen before which was a freshman.
"Hi! Max right?"She questioned him as he nodded. "Sorry but I just wanted to know if your interested into signing a petition to get the theater back in place for a show? They recently took it down and a look of kids that did theater are upset. So I'd be good to get a few more people to sign to get them back on their feet!?" He said sweetly as she smiled. "Of course!" She smiled as he did I too.
She grabbed the pen and signed the little bored with a paper on it as she returns the pen back to the boy.
"Thank you very much!" He said as she nodded.
"Anytime! I hope to see a play soon!" She said as he nodded and walked away.
She was to turn to her next class area as the face of the boy looked at her. She looked at him and quickly and turned around. She began to walk as the sound of her name being called.
"Phoenix!" Jaden said as she still walked.
"Phoenix wait!" He said to the girl as she groaned quietly and stopped walking.
"Phoenix baby what's wrong? And why were you talking to that other boy?" The boy said pulling her to the side as she didn't look him in the face. He cleared wanted an answer as his voice was in the serious tone.
"Nothing is wrong and it's non of your business." She snapped moving away a little before being pulled back by her wrist a little.
"I don't know who you think you are but I deserve to know." He said as she frowned her eyebrows. "First off, you don't need to know shit and second I need to get to class." She said as he didn't budge.
"Jaden i need to go-"
"What so now you think you can go talk to other boys? Cheat behind my back? And why are you acting all bitchy?" He said back as her face dropped.
"You really think of me like that huh?" She asked as he scoffed. "What no I just-"
"Save it Jaden I get it, you don't want me to have guy friends or any guy around me. Plus you think I'm a cheater. Also, Don't ever ask me why I'm bitchy because I'll show you bitchy. If you think I'm a slut or a bitch just say it! I've been called way worse. say it to my face, I'm not scared of you." The girl said yanking her hand way from him as he didn't dare to grab her back. She walked away going to her next class as she scoffed.
Who knew she'd be like that again.. not to her bully or friend but to her own boyfriend..
