"Just wondering, are we gonna keep sitting here and act like strangers or maybe acknowledge each other like adults?" Jaden spoke up breaking the deafening silence but also with some hostility in her voice
"Depends if I try to talk to you are you going to listen?" I asked returning the same attitude earning a long sigh from her direction
She got out of the chair at the island and approached the couch
"Dude you're an a**hole, but I think we should talk" she said about to take a seat next to me but before she could really sit Paige and Melo came back down stairs
"Not tryna interrupt anything but I'm ready when you are Jay, I'll grab the snacks" Paige watched us as she walked into the kitchen and Jaden followed right behind her
