Since I didn't get to do a Christmas Special, I'd figure I'd do a New Years Special. So here you go.

An AU where Oikawa and Kageyama fight over who gets to set to Hinata.

3rd POV

"I'm obviously the better setter!" Oikawa yelled, his hands waving through the air as if to prove his point. "Well, I've been setting to Hinata the longest!" Kageyama argued.

"Yeah, but you still lost to me in the practice match!" Oikawa pointed out.

"Well, at least I made it to Nationals! Unlike a certain someone! " Kageyama shouted.

And so the continued fighting and bickering, driving Hinata, who was sitting between them, to the brink of insanity.

"Can you guys please just shut up for goddamn once! It's New Year's eve and you guys literally invited me out just to argue about something you can do anytime?! I'm going home now!" Hinata yelled, frustrated.

As Hinata got up to leave, a hand pulled him down.

"Wha-!"

Oikawa bent down and kissed Hinata's hand as if they were in one of those romance historical novels (you know the ones). Hinata's face turned a bright shade of red and he immediately snatched his hand back and held it with the other, like it was injured.

"Hey! What was that for?!" He asked, face still blushing red.

"C'mon, chibi chan, I'm really really sorry!" Oikawa said, attempting his best puppy dog eyes. Hinata looked away, his face as hot as fire, even though it was winter.

"Fine!" Hinata said. Oikawa smirked. He could feel Kageyama's glare pierced the back of his head.

"C-can I stay here too?" Kageyama asked. Hinata smiled. He had never seen Kageyama like this.

"Of course!" he said.

"Hey! How come Kageyama has to just ask while I have to beg on my knees?! That's not fair!" Oikawa complained.

"But Oikawa-san! Have you ever seen Kageyama like this?!" Hinata said.

"You're right, I can use it as blackmail!" Oikawa said.

"Exactly!" Hinata agreed, jumping up and down.

"Wow, Chibi-chan, you're so smart!" Oikawa said.

Kageyama huffed. "Let's just go and see the fireworks," he said.

And together,  they sat on a patch of grass, watching the fireworks bloom like a flower in the air before slowly falling down, disappearing as it went. Hinata smiled. He liked the fireworks. He also likes company. He leaned against Oikawa and Kageyama. Kageyama's ears turned red and Oikawa had a smirk.

"So, who's going to serve to him tomorrow?" Oikawa asked.

Hinata punched him.

We are not going to talk about how I published this 8 days after New Year.
