Checkmate

Uhh... hi?

After watching a lot of mcyt play together, I'm reminded of how lonely I am. My only friend offline doesn't play Minecraft, Genshin Impact, or any of the games I play and I don't think they plan on any time soon.

Kageyama's POV

"Ah, Tobio! You're finally here!" Oikawa rushed over to me with a giant smile on his face. I growled.

"Where. Is. Hinata?" I asked.

Oikawa waved his hand aside. "Hinata and the others are fine, it's you that I need".

"What do you want from me?" I asked.

"You already know, don't you?" he said.

"I know," I sighed. (A/n Yes, we'll get to that later ).

"Well? Then, hand it over. Unless of course, you don't want to. That's fine too. I've already found myself another toy. But you wouldn't want to leave your precious queen in my hands, would you?" he asked.

"I don't have it " I muttered.

"Hah! That's the biggest lie I've ever heard. You carry it everywhere! Just give it here. C'mon, I'll count down from three. 3, 2, 1," I hesitated. "0!".

"I'll give it! I'll give it! Just let Hinata go!" I yelled.

"Nuh-uh! Too late! If you were going to give it to me, you should've done it when I asked for it the first time! But in the end, it's good that you didn't give me it. After all, I wasn't going to give Hinata back in the first place. He's a much better entertainment than you'll ever be," Oikawa said.

"Why you-"

"I suggest you don't hit me. You don't want to start a war, do you? Karasuno won't be able to last a day".

I stopped.

"Guards! Take him back to his wimpy little kingdom. If he comes here again, we'll declare war on Karasuno," Oikawa ordered. I felt hands wrap around my arms as I was dragged out. I struggled to get out of their grip but their grip got tighter. "Fuck you, Oikawa!" I yelled.

He smiled and waved. "Goodbye! Have a terrible time!".

Oikawa's POV

Tobio was as cheerful as ever! I wonder what Hinata would look like once I told him Tobio abandoned him? Would he be surprised? Or disappointed? Or maybe he was already expecting it? Whatever his reaction was, I bet it'd be entertaining!

"Oikawa, what the hell are you doing?!" a voice said behind me. I turned around.

"Eh, Iwa chan, what do you mean? I'm just having fun!" I said happily.

"God, Oikawa. You can't always rely on me and the others to do work for you! You still have duties as a king to attend to! Shiratorizawa has been asking for a meeting with you for the 18th time this week!" he scolded.

"They really are persistent, aren't they? I've rejected their requests like, 100 times already! Why won't they just stop?" I whined.

"I have no idea but, they could be future allies. So you better behave yourself before you get yourself in some trouble. I won't be able to save you then." Iwaizumi warned.

"Fine, whatever. I guess I'll stop by Shiratorizawa later. But for now, let me have my fun!"

"Oikawa, you're going to be the death of me and the whole kingdom if you keep up what you're doing" Iwaizumi sighed.

"It'll be fine, there's nothing to worry about!". I skipped off to the dungeons.
